  1. I am going to try again too. What was the best way to get a tag? Go for any district?
  2. Phew, in 4. I wonder if there is a way to see how you score against everyone else that played it that day? That would be a nice feature.
  3. Love his show Farming the Wild. I’ll look for Wild Game.
  4. 5 on Wordle today. My wife got it in TWO! WTF…. Today I read that Wordle was purchased by the NYTIMES. It will remain free to current subscribers. Also, learned it was invented by a guy from Brooklyn as a gift to his partner. His last name is Wardle, so the game name is a play on his last name.
  5. I am in a Homemade Winemaking Club and at the summer dinners they have sliced fruits (and ice!) to put in with your red wine if you like. It’s refreshing, but not something I would do on a regular basis.
  6. We always had homemade wine mixed 50/50 with Sprite or 7-up until about age 12 when we were then allowed to have one small glass straight up.
  7. In 4 today, but my wife beat me again!
  8. Dave, I had never heard of Lock, Stock and Barrel in Fulton. Looks like a great place! I hope to come out there sometime soon and shoot with everyone. http://www.lockstockandbarrelclub.com/
  9. I’m going to wait until my brain is more fully awake. Had a long day of day drinking yesterday, still working it out upstairs…..
  10. I bought this one last year and have used it several times. Decent sprayer for the money. Just be sure to clean it really good after each use. https://www.harborfreight.com/painting/paint-sprayers/handheld-hvlp-paint-stain-sprayer-64934.html
  11. Got it finally in the last guess.
  12. Because you are more sophisticated than the average Joe here. That’s the original link I posted. I think the game originated from there.
  13. I don’t have any of their other models, but they seem to have a great selection. I see them stocked in local hardware stores, like Ace or True Value. It’s always better to try things on if possible. And support a local small business owner.
  14. Two words for you: DRY SHOD. I like my Dry Shods much better than my Mucks, and I loved my Mucks (10+ years old and going strong except for the holes in the neoprene upper from walking in cut up marshes.)
  15. Got lucky on first guess for letters, second guess for word. Fun, thanks for the early morning brain tease!
  16. Ugh, 5 on Wordle, no desire for Lewdle. Will try Crappys game next. EDIT, I suck at that tonight too! 5 tries!
  17. Just finished One Man’s Wilderness, by Richard Pronneke for the second time. I forgot that I had read it a while ago, but a few pages after I remembered, I decided to just keep going. In preparation for the upcoming Winter Olympics I am reading The Boys of Winter, by Wayne Coffey. It’s interesting but a little disorganized. Still enjoying it though. I actually did attend the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. Shockingly, it was my Father that insisted I go, even allowing me to miss the a full week of my second college semester. I had a friend of a friend that lived in Plattsburgh, so I stayed in her basement and took the shuttle bus back and forth. Had a great time and traded a bunch of pins with people, walked half way up Whiteface Mt the ski races, went to bobsled, hockey (not the big game) and several other events. Small bit of trivia, a friend of mine was at the Miracle on Ice game and had a US flag. He gave it to Jim Craig at the end of the game and he draped it over his shoulders for the iconic photo.
  18. 4 on Wordle, wife got it in 3, I’m gunna owe her something, hope it’s not dishes.
  19. 4 on Lewdle, but I had to look up the definition.
  20. My wife just texted me she got it in 3 tries. I'm toast tonight if I don't beat her! Willing to cheat to save me the embarrassment!
  21. It took me 6 tries tonight. My wife got it in 3. Sometimes you get lucky. And yes, letters can repeat.
  22. Our local favorite place has a Detroit style deep dish with chili honey, cup pepperoni, sliced cherry peppers and a thick layer of four different cheeses. That would be awesome in a skillet.
  23. Maybe FSW would donate some giant backstraps from a few of his mature deer?
