"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Wayne Gretsky Best turkey hunt of 2022, even without a shot fired. Had a trio of Toms come within 60 yards of me and would not commit to my two hen decoys. Another 20 yards and I would have swung on them. There were in the field for a good 45 minutes before they got that close, so they were not spooked. They stayed on the far side of the field and eventually met up with 2 more hens. They all fed for half an hour or so, and then went back into the woods. I circled around and found them in an uncut alfalfa field with just their heads barely above the grass. I snuck in within 50 yards but had no shot on them. They again wandered off and I never saw them again. I did see a young buck with horns sprouting up above his ears, so already looking forward to the next season. Congrats to @WNY Bowhunter - way to make it happen!!

Trying my best to bring them in! Sent from my SM-G990U using Tapatalk

Is bass season open now?

Rob, we would sometimes bring a kayak, or if we were going to Happy Valley WMA, we would have our canoe. Sent from my SM-G990U using Tapatalk

Good for you! You may have timed the sale at just the right time. If interest rates keep going up, home prices may cool a bit.

Me? NEVER

I'm out. Just had a hen. Live bait is great, but no Toms with her Sent from my SM-G990U using Tapatalk

Biz, a pathway between the boxes would help you maintain the plants easier. You would never have to walk on the growing soil. A foot would be plenty, just enough to walk or stand in. Just a suggestion. Sent from my SM-G990U using Tapatalk

Happy birthday, I like your style.

Made dinner for my wife today, she actually asked for venison for dinner. Stuffed with spinach, mushrooms and bleu cheese. Made a beet salad too, that was delicious. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

That looks outstanding! If I leave now, I might make it in time for dinner!

Using stuff up or fresh fish?

I love the whole things drizzled in olive oil, salt, pepper and then grilled quick to a light char. Sometimes I will do that in a sauté pan inside so I can let the bulbs cook a little longer.

Which part are you eating? Both are delicious! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Very quiet morning, no shots heard in the neighborhood at all. Never heard a gobble all day. We did have 2 hens come right up against the blind within a couple of feet, they were around us for more than a half an hour. Moved around a couple of times and at 10 decided to check another field. We saw a Tom about 200 yard away, set up and called, never came in. Went further down the lane and saw a different Tom (we think) in the field. Set up on the opposite side of the thick brush pile, had him right behind us for over 20 minutes, could not get him to cross over to our side through an opening. I plan to go out for a couple of hours in the morning. Congrats to all that scored one of natures most delicious wild game animals or just had a great day like I did.

Great local gun shop. I have bought several guns from them.

Going through, under and over via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is worth the price of admission! Very cool ride through there! We did it on a trip to OBX many years ago.

Hopefully your “quarantine” coincides with walleye opener!

Get well soon Cynthia!

Wow, they look awesome! And that would be a perfect side dish for Easter dinner…… I wonder if mine are ready yet?

What mount did you use for the Rib Mount on the 870 Youth? How is the line of sight compared to the scopes mounted over the receiver?
