My first attempt (also using Mowin's recipe) came great until I thought they needed to be cooked a little more in the oven. The little more ended up being too long and they were slightly over cooked. I think I made them too big as well...larger than a golf ball? I really liked the smoke flavor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Might be the end of the cherries and bizarre growing cukes and and pathetic squash. Jalapeño are great still...these will probably be prepared for poppers for hunting season. Another round of this still in the plants for "quick pickled" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Some sausage "balls" (not quite holding sharp-too hot I presume) and some jalapeño poppers. Plus an extra Italian sausage in chef provided synthetic casing just cause I had an extra and was curious how that would be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's how Grandma Boston cooks it and she's always on point....well not with what she calls "tomato sauce" but she's from Gallway so... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1/2 dozen or so of these at a Camden Yard suite. Got to chat with Al Bumbry 1973 rookie of the year (thanks Google!). He entertained my boys with great stories - nothing like listening to old timer athletes rehash behind the sport moments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Damnit....if you can find the town I would appreciate it. It will either make me more nervous or slightly less (not really) nervous Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed, but in this age of fear of lawsuits and new anti gun laws and anti-hunting, it gets harder for landowners to say yes. I have hunted on numerous properties where we have secured permission (without pay or even sweat equity even though we offered). Honestly, we left many due to the lack of hospitality of neighbors thinking they "own" the land because they always accessed it before(without the owners knowledge or permission) cause their daddy and their daddy's daddy always hunted there. Not so sure about that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed but I'm not sure I read that statement as you do as a landowner. If I had a place to hunt by the good Grace if someone I am happy. I am also sad when I "lose" it. I don't blame the land owner for doing what he wants with the land. I'm just bummed that "that's the way hunting is going" -original post concept Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need to wash my shit, organize my pack, pull out the bow, shoot, sawyers my clothes, check my climber, clean my car if fishing gear, make sure I have thunderheads, and shoot my bow. Other than that I AM READY!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speaking of Stewart's, peanut butter pandemonium may be the best ice cream experience I have found yet especially from the Stewart off the Taconic at Salt Point (and I saw an albino doe just south of the exit ramp!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Since 3S only has 1 regular season(10/1-12/31) which is bow only, 2 bucks any day in that period...2 bucks on 12/31 would be more wild than 2 on 10/1!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
While the above it true, you would still use your "gun tag" for a bow killed buck if killed during the "gun season" The tag is tied to the season, not the actual weapon used. In other words if you didn't punch your bow buck tag during bow and then shoot a buck during regular season with a bow, it's still a regular season buck tag used. You cannot tag with bow tag and then kill another buck with gun during regular season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
