I couldn’t find the wine thread so I’m putting this here since it’s in a can. My wife thankfully ($10-15 a bottle) like Dark Horse reds and so she gave this a dance as she was lookin for a rose. Crazy thing is they disappear pretty quickly it seems. I loaded up this year off a pretty big area near my house. Was in the woods earlier this week looking for shrooms(found none) and passed the area where the ramps were running wild 10-12 days ago. I had to look hard to find the area where they were. Caste iron pan, high heat, extra virgin oil and butter, salt, pepper. Cook until they wilt and soften up. Eat as a side. Or. Chop up the white bulb and some of them lighter green-quick sautée in oil - whisk up some eggs and make a cheese omelette over the top. One thought/suggestions - parboil the red potatoes; coat in extra virgin, sprinkle with salt pepper oregano and then throw DIRECTLY on the grill. Roll em around a bit after the sides get dark and crispy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
