OK, that's more like it. Not to say that a fawn couldn't be born in April if it's mother was bred very early, but I think that is a very rare occurrence in NYS. Just not a lot of foliage out in April yet for these little ones to hide in.
-
Fulldraw, if you found a 2-3 week old fawn on May 6th, that is a very early fawn. I think the majority of fawns are born towards to end of May and very early June. I found this one pictured on May 23rd two years ago while hiking. It staggered over the trail and laid back down as soon is got into some brush. Could not have been more than a day or two old from the way it was walking weakly.

Well, I reckon you might know a thing or two about mental disorders so I won't argue with you about that. Did you read my first post on this thread?? Republicans did HAVE control of the whitehouse and both houses for 6 years in the recent past. I had the same question on the thread talking about Obamacare. Where were they and why didn't they try to turn around this socialistic plague you fear so much?? We have yet to hear an answer from you on this. Other than boasting that your posts and links are factual and the Gods honest truth, and that liberalism is nothing but a mental disorder you side step any direct questions every chance you get.

Maybe you should tell us something we don't already know about you for a change? Yes, you have that right to speak and so do others. No one here is taking that right away from you. You simply need to understand that your posts will not be agreed to by everyone here and they will then probably let you know about it. Real simple.
-
Why do you want my response?? Can't you figure it out for yourself? If the people voted in the democrats more often than the republicans for the house and senate seats what does this tell you? Maybe the majority of this nations society doesn't have the same paranoid fear of some of these socialistic programs as you guys do? So what makes you think YOUR way of thinking is absolutely right and theirs is absolutely wrong?? We are a democracy where people vote in their representatives. Thinking that YOUR views are the only ones to be taken seriously while all others are to be discounted tells us more about YOU than it does about anyone else you guys feel like condemning. I feel sorry for you guys that you can't figure simple things like this out.
-
Is Obama the first US president with socialistic type ideas?? NO freaking way. FDR implemented way more socialistic programs than Obama ever will. It all started 78 years ago in 1933. I would have figured the republicans would have done something about it since they have such a fear of socialism? Where have you republicans been for all these years? I have a few hunches actually! LOL You guys had Ike for 8 years, Nixon & Ford for 8 years, Reagan and Bush sr. for 12 years, Bush jr for another 8 years. That adds up to 36 years. Since 1945 when FDR died, you guys have had the presidency for 36 out of 66 years which adds up to the majority of years. What have you boys done to stamp this plague of socialism out?? Not a hell of a lot it seems. Some here simply bitch for the sake of bitching. That is pretty much it.

Stuck in my old ways of thinking

Culver, the points you make would surely bring the costs of hospitalization, doctor visits, medical procedures, etc down. You will get no arguments from me. This would ultimately cost insurance companies less and hopefully that would trickle down to the insured people and employers where the premiums would hopefully be less also. The BIG problem I have, and that NO one is addressing here is where the f--k were the republicans when the held the white house and both houses from 2001 thru 2007 on this issue??? Republicans are bitching up a storm on Obamacare now, yet they did JACK to address this issue in any way for 6 whole years! Year after year they kept sweeping the healthcare problem in this country under the rug while things continued to spiral out of control. The only thing I ever remember Bush saying about it was about possible tort reforms, which obviously by itself would not be enough and have major hurdles in getting passed as you stated. Republicans are as much at fault for another administration coming in and trying to revamp the system completely as anyone else here. Their refusal to address this issue has directly led to Obamacare whether some here want to admit it or not. That is my problem with most people here blasting Obamacare without offering any alternative solutions. I think only a moron would admit that there aren't major problems with our health system. The republicans refused to address any of it, now they are having a cow over Obamacare. Well, what can I tell them then?? Maybe they shouldn't have sat on their thumbs when they had a chance?? -

OK, so if Obamacare is not to most people's liking here, exactly what should be done about the healthcare issues in this country? Now I sure hope no one will tell us that the system as it currently stands isn't screwed up and getting worse all the time. If you don't want government taking it over what else should be done? I don't think anyone should assume for a minute that employers will keep covering us indefinitely with costs continuing to go thru the roof. It won't be long before they figure out that they could hire people without providing health insurance to them and then everyone will be on their own to cough up the entire cost of the insurance. Health coverage will go the way of the dinosaur, just like pension plans that people once got without having to put their own money into it. I simply want to hear solutions in peoples own words here. Just blasting Obamacare without good alternate solutions gets us nowhere. -
I think people might be curious if you still CAN. If you google "Pygmy having sex", you get over 1 million results. Maybe they are hoping to catch a steamy video? LOL

Good to know, Mizro! Robinson at his age obviously wouldn't have a problem doing it on the NYC's subway number 6 train during rush hour! Actually that might be understandable. LOL
-
I guess my question would be if you choose C and end up doing it on the couch, do you keep the window's open so that your neighbor's can see and hear all the action??
-
Sorry to bust on your hero, Robinson. Some of us older folks here think that you could find WAY better ones than him. Hopefully you will recognize this one day. Won't be holding my breath, however, from what I see from many around here. Mind boggling thought processes for darn sure.

Yep, that's exactly what I mean. I have hunted a long time now and have never had any non-hunter feel sorry for me or any other hunter in any way. If we hunt, we just have to suck it up, I guess.
-
I guess if you like a representative that has a drugged up, glassy eyed look, with hair longer than Jesus, and one that has no qualms about using obscenities to get his point across, and likes to appear on stage of his concerts with an AR-15 in hand, then Nugent is obviously the MAN for you. Others think he is exactly what we DON'T need to be stereotyped as.
-
It would actually do the hunting world good if NO one ever heard of him! LOL
-
I will agree that there probably is some sacrifice on our part to participate in this sport, be it time, money or family, but my only point would be that we shouldn't think that we will get any sympathy from any non-hunters out there for any of these personal sacrifices. We basically hunt because we want to. It surely isn't a necessity for 99% of the hunters out there. If we didn't hunt we honestly could live on just the same. Buying any sort of meat in a store will probably end up costing less for just about any hunter out there.

You are right Geno, I know that a car like that could be built, but as you say this is how this country and most others around the world want it to be. It's a complete conspiracy where those who are already rich are getting even MORE rich on the backs of all of us. We are given NO choice but to pay up or we have to walk or ride a bike instead. Talk about the biggest scam the world has ever seen, OIL and everyones complete dependence on it is certainly it!
-
I will agree with him that there is a sense of satisfaction when one does get an animal down which one doesn't get without putting an animal down. I just would laugh at his statement above. I can see what he means about good old fashioned luck, but exactly what's with the incredible dedication and sacrifice?? Plenty of hunters out there that are far from being the sharpest knives in the drawer and yet they manage to kill deer. It really isn't rocket science so I don't know how much dedication it really takes. No one is telling anyone that they must hunt in todays world, so any sacrifices he talks about are obviously personal choice.
-
I don't think electric cars are much of an option since you have to get the electricity somewhere. What we need is for someone to invent a car engine on solar or water power where oil is completely put out of the picture. Then we would be talking. Of course as long as oil companies are milking in the big bucks this well NEVER happen. Even if there was someone who invented something good I am sure he would be paid big dollars by oil companies to keep his invention secret. Either that or his body would end up deep in the Gulf of Mexico somewhere where he couldn't tell anyone his great new invention that might put the oil companies out of business! All this oil is is one MAJOR conspiracy in my opinion that pretty much rules the world.

Custom rifles..........................
steve863 replied to FULLDRAWXX75's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Oh, OK. I have seen things like that, although I think I have seen them mostly in skeet or trap shotguns. I guess whatever does the trick for you is good. I have seen some really good rubber recoil pads that work great too, although they are thicker than what you have, but could see them as being easier to install. -
I got a lightly used (ha) Martin for you... can you shoot lefthanded? If so make me an offer....haha Of course its probaly way to new for you steve863, I think I bought in the early 2000's. Nah I don't think I'm interested. I have my heart set on something from the mid 90's. Early 2000's would be too much of a jump for me. I'm pretty conservative and traditional as many here already know.

Nice job, it looks great. What is a mercury recoil supressor?? Your recoil pad looks pretty thin. -
I pulled my 1990 bow out of the closet again this past season and lucked out and actually killed a buck with it. I guess it's time for me to upgrade to maybe a 1993 or 1994 model now? Anybody selling one??
