  1. Have to say I don't think I tried water that holds anything all that interesting to start; that sounds more promising.
  2. Done a little bit of that, mostly just find rusty junk.
  3. Africahunting.com, accurate reloading, 24 hr campfire, a Blaser/Sauer rifle forum, tacoma world, private bird watching group, and check taxidermy.net and some knife making boards occasionally.
  4. Pornhub, but that's not much of a forum as a hobby. They might have a forum there, but I can't type with one hand.
  5. That a coyote den I see there in the backround? You should do something about that, those things will kill ya'. Gobble, Gobble
  6. I moderated on one hunting board where an oft banned member would make several accounts and then post at-a-boys on threads he started.
  7. I lost touch with a few guys here and there; sometimes wonder what happened to either them or the board we were on...... This is nothing; I seen guys publish intimate details of family members on other boards over feuds. A few boards I'm on have no moderation at all, you should see those shit shows. LOL
  8. The one I'm thinking of was NY specific and I thought Burmjohn was there.......then all the sudden one day it was gone. There have been a couple hunting forums that have melted down I have browsed in last 10 years I've been on these. Nice to get folks real contact info, never know when these can vanish.
  9. Ya....there was another board that a bunch of screen names came here when this board started. Local guy in QDMA told me this one started with refugees from that one. But I forgot the name.
  10. Same here, too many other gun projects and sitting on several scopes waiting to find rifles to go under them. LOL Found some rings last week on a forum for a rifle I have had for over a year and haven't shot, so get to use one there.
  11. Got to work the right forums, if trying that route. I've never sold a scope local or on small board like this, got to go national.
  12. Yep, you are right Lawdwaz.....some just can't let it go.
  13. I stopped at a hunting forum meet up for free beer and eats at a convention some years ago. If I had to spend time in a hunting camp with some of them guys I would have to shoot myself. Then again, maybe they thought the same!
  14. It's for the children.
  15. This is at entertaining as the crossbow thread.
  16. Post up some more bulls......not much to hunt here at the moment and winter is dragging on.
  17. Bell lived in Nevada desert in Nye county..... His sign on signature was to be broadcasting from the "kingdom of Nye" Maybe you are like royalty or somthin'?
  18. Coast to Coast founder and radio pioneer Art Bell has gone off in search of the other side. Shows never been the same without him.
  19. When you are paying $50K in taxes, you got to watch your pennies. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Tasco-3-9x40-Riflescope/47487533 On sale....$16.50
  20. First animal ever in Africa; guess you know why I got hooked huh? Wood stock Blaser R93 in 300RUM and 180gr Trophy Bonded Bearclaws, Kahles 3-10 scope. That frame is still my favorite rifle, terrific trigger. Frontal shot, bullet recovered under skin on the backside of ham. That barrel was a hell of a shooter. Sold it as it was always a powder burner and a lot of recoil for a relative light gun and using a 300WBY as a fast 30 cal now for the Blaser rifles now.
  21. Roughly 400-600lbs. About the same as an Elk. This could be Cape Kudu at maybe a bit less in general, but not much, 350-450 maybe. Thats live weight. If that recent he's right at his peak weight for the year going into their rutting season (May) He'll lose condition as their winter/dry season is coming. Think more wet/dry than 4 seasons.....Hot and raining.....Dry and cool (near freezing in some places) This is the biggest bodied male Kudu I've shot and we used a winch to load him......just over 500lbs full weight. Most of time you don't gut in field and recover whole and this one was hung on scale. Peak weight right at beginning of May and the rut, good rains that year. Does PA chest chart work for this?
  22. That link worked. Yoh, sho<<<<South African for that be some mighty tough sob carrying that!
  23. Actually I can think of more than a few! Maybe you meant just dogs?
  24. There's a pile of Leupold Mark 4's that are counterfeit from a few years ago floating around.
