Do you have a preference or do you like both barrels? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have thought about the 6.5cm as well. I feel the 6.5x284 barrel life will not be too great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone build your own Custom rifle off of the Savage action?I have a model 11 short action .243 and I am thinking about ordering a 6.5 X 284 barrel and Bell & Carleson stock for a new project. Looking around for ideas. I have looked at Criterion and Shilen barrels which are around $350.00 for stainless.

I've been to the one in Rochester a few times and loved it. Better than Gander I think. I believe it has something to do with Dick's Sporting goods

Official shooting times for Saturday/ gun opener
rotorooter23 replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in Deer Hunting
Really? wow. lol with common logic like theirs, wonder how they even passed their hunter safety course. -
Got a pretty good video of the buck my dad shot on cam Saturday( 11/14) morning. This was roughly 30 minutes before he shot him at my stand. Guess I picked the wrong stand ! We still have a few more shooters around. Turn up your volume you can hear him grunt! IMG_0235.AVI

My 11-87 fully rifled loves the lightfields, the barrel is a 1:34 twist so the slower heavier bullets group better then the faster Sabots. I to use to shoot the hornady and had success. I like the lightfields heavier 546 grains and tack driving accuracy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

love my lead sled for initial sighting in! always shoot a couple out of it though as well but it makes a world of difference on the shoulder. -
