    My trusty old spot land me a a good bird again. This makes 6 years in a row w at least 1 longbeard at my favorite spot

    You can call the Wildlife Division at your local regional DEC office and they can look your name up on the computer in the system and issue another certificate. We had a lot of calls like that when I was at the DEC. The archives only go back so far though, and I'm not sure how it works with the new system.

    Harris bi pod if you don't mind the added weight but is tough out of treestands... Not really sure on a shooting stick, also interested in other peoples thoughts.

    Isn't there some problems with shooting a shell with a flight control wad out of a ported choke? I thought I remember reading somewhere it is not recommended.

    Currently living in Cortland and being around cortland since I was a kid as I grew up 15 minutes south of here, it is nothing really special. The college really helps out the city as cortland county is one of the poorest counties in ny.

    I live around the block from the school. Still have a little bit of my wild side after graduating 2 years ago! I have a bunch of friends from high school that stayed in the area and currently still go to Cortland and love it. 1 of which is the captain of the soccer team First Light! small world!

    My favorite is the Prom Queen mouth call by Beard Bustin Game calls right out of Sidney Ny. Produces the best range of sounds for me as I have tried so many to get the sound that I like. Have had great success with this call.

    Slug barrels tend to move and vibrate. Pinning it keeps the barrel to keep it in same place and supposidly makes a huge difference.

    Anyone had their shotgun barrel pinned?? Heard there was a guy in Weedsport that does this?

    I wish I could find a Savage ML II nowadays...One of the best ever made. I remember when they were making them and they were at $600... be lucky to find one let alone pay near a $1000 for one.

    I'm in Marathon not very far from there and we still have snow knee deep. Tried to get out on the Ranger last weekend and kept getting stuck.
