I have them. awesome stuff. warm and not terribly bulky. great for all day sits in the cold. Wool is excellent with the rain compared with other stuff.

My cuddeback Attack is not as good as my moultrie M-80.... I feel Cuddeback has stayed the same while other companys have flew by.

Just got my old benelli super nova back from getting a paint job. Before it was a waterfowl max-4 camo pattern. Was really light colored and needed a make over. Here's a pic what do you guys think? A friend that is getting into this did it for near nothing.

I have a CVA optima pro and have used it before during regular gun season. I like the reassurance of knowing there is a chance for a quick follow up shot. I have a 870 pump which has done the trick. I inherited the 11-87 and ended up buying a rifled barrel last weekend at the local gun shop for $150 plus tax. Just a fun little project. I also hunt Cortland County a lot as well and that is rifle. Next on the list is a timney trigger kit, some glass, and should be ready to roll for next gun season.

A must have when birds get close. I love my mouth call and pretty much only use it. Last few years though once I have gotten the birds within 75-100 yds, I use the soft yelps of a push button call. Have had so much success doing this.

Since it is a 11-87 special purpose does that mean I need a barrel specific to the special purpose model? I know there is 11-87 sportsman and 11-87 premier. It's my understanding they only differ in finish. I could be wrong? Bear with me as these came out when I was born!

Good Afternoon fellow members, Now that a lot of counties are switching over to rifle, I am currently stuck in a shotgun county (Broome).I am looking into getting a 11-87 Special Purpose from a family member. I am hoping to make this my deer gun. Growing up I have always wanted a 11-87. For what reason? I have no idea. I hunt now with a pumpkin flinging 870 smooth bore. Had some pretty good success so far but I am ready to move up to a Semi-auto. The problem I run into is the gun has a bird barrel. It looks like I am going to have to buy a rifled barrel and they look like they are running around $250-300. Is this worth it? The plan is to put a 2-7x scope made by Nikon on it paired with a 21 in. rifled barrel. I may look into putting in a Timney Trigger Fix into the trigger if I get a wild hair. The gun already has a B-square mount on it. What was everyone's favorite slug gun before the rifle boom? Anyone use to use the 11-87?

My CVA has the old Breech design and i haven't had a misfire yet (knock on wood). Much cleaner powder. I love it!

I did... I got the dead ringer Beard Buster. https://deadringerhunting.com/shotgun-products/ Only bad thing I would say is the camo does not last long on the gun. I have had it for 5 years and the camo has faded for some reason. I have it currently being painted with duracoat as we speak.

I have the Supernova used specifically for my turkey gun. I would recommend it over and over again. I have it paired with a Kicks Gobblin' Thunder choke and use the Manablend shot. Before anyone asks, yes the kicks chokes steel can handle the heavy Magnablend Very Tight groups and never had a problem. You will not be disappointed. When I went and got the Benelli it was a toss up between the Mossberg 935 and the Supernova. Mossberg makes a great gun as well. I went with the pump. Randy Wakeman also has a lot of good stuff to say about the SuperNova.
