  1. I’ve heard if you throw the head in a pond the fish will do a fine job
  2. Couple picks I took of some bucks in the backyard. The smaller buck was chasing does all over the field the bigger buck wasn’t interested yet.
  3. I’m saying it now and Us bills fans have been saying it since 1995 we need a quarterback !
  4. Cool coyote pic. As much as I dislike those mangy bastards they are interesting creatures.
  5. Young 8 and a big tall 10 in the backyard today then 2 doe came in and that 8 took off after the bigger doe . After a couple minutes he came back out to rejoin his buddy after about 20 minutes or so they disappeared back into the woods. Awesome to see. Not quite ready yet.
  6. My hands always get wet when I put them in the muff........ I need to see a deer I’m getting loopy....
  7. Awesome. I love my pit bull . She is the biggest baby on earth. Not a mean bone in her body. I hate the wrap that breed gets. It’s all in how you raise them. He’s a beauty I’m jealous.
  8. From my experience if your shooting from a treestand practice from an elevated platform the bolts seem to shot differently than from on the ground. Good luck! what part of the state are ya hunting?
  9. Guess I should’ve seen that coming lol... my old man worked in prisons for 35 years. Him and his CO buddies would’ve been more PC.
  10. It is such a tease working at this site. Deer and turkey run all day thru here. Good luck to who is lucky enough to be out on this gorgeous morning.
  11. The biggest buck I have ever seen was out that way in Geneseeo . I was about 12 and my dads jail buddies were pushing this patch of woods and out he came. My old man missed with the smoke pole. First and only time I seen him literally cry. It’s was on Monasteries land if any of you guys know where that is out there. Man what a deer! They do have some bruisers out that way.
  12. Who cares it’s for the kids use the stand. Don’t ask don’t tell! Just like the army use to be.
  13. Exactly! Who remembers wins unless it’s the end game with a world championship.
  14. I have never tried but always wanted to. But then again i don’t process my own deer and the butcher skins them in less than 5 minutes. But in Colorado you must skin the animal before you drop it off or they charge you like 100 bucks.
  15. @turkeyfeathers I promise to make it too the next forum get together and buy you a pint of whatever frosty beverage you desire.
  16. As soon as he calls me back hopefully I can make it mine.
  17. Still hunt under the same cherry tree I’ve hunted since I was 12 opps I mean 16. I missed a lot of deer from under that tree.
  18. It’s a head scratcher why more doe permit aren’t given out for that area. I’ve always seen plenty of deer in that area and in the area next to 9p everyone gets one.
  19. 9p tag is like gold. Good luck.
  20. Just dropped the wife and kids off at the airport as they are going down to Orlando for a ninja competition. I actually wish I was going I love watching the competitions. But guess who has two thumbs and no responsibility till Thursday? That’s right this guy. Anyone needs me I’ll be in the stand. Good luck boys and girls let’s knock something down.
  21. When I first was in contact with them they told usual turn around time is 2 weeks .
  22. So I sent my rifle into Remington for a firing pin problem a week ago. I never heard anything from them so I called and they told me minimum of 8 weeks .Now I have to start thinking about another gun to use here for deer season. I have other guns to use but I’ve always wanted a Remington 1000. Anybody on this great forum looking to unload (pun intended)?
