Happy Father’s Day everyone. I got the greatest present ever . She took the kids to Florida because her parents just closed on a new house down there. Just relaxing with my dogs. Enjoy your day everyone!

My grandfather passed away from this disease. He lived with us for 3 years during it. Watching a persons mind just totally deteriorate before your eyes is heartbreaking. My mom put him in a home for the last year of his life because she couldn’t take care of him anymore. He was 6-5 300 lbs of pure Genny cream ale. When he died he was all of 100 lbs.

They are amazing animals. To be totally honest if I was deer hunting and a bear walked out I don’t think I would shoot it. I would just hope it stuck around long enough to watch it and learn more about them.

I’m in agree with you. Doctors do just throw prescriptions at people. I’m the type of guy that won’t even take aspirin for a head ache. But I’m going to take the pill they prescribed just this once .

I don’t know if I picked this up at the cabin yesterday or from my aunts house in North Tonawanda. But any way the wife tried pulling it off but couldn’t get it . Pedersoli 50 cal. traditional black powder rifle when I was 11 was mine. Killed my first deer with it. I still use this every year . I do not own an inline muzzle loader and never will. It’s just my preference. I was raised on traditional and hope one of my boys carry it as well. You knock my crossbow I’ll knock your pretend muzzle loader with your fancy scope and clean powders... just kidding I could careless what you hunt with just shoot straight!

I’m in no way knocking any of my fellow umpires. I am 37 and can still run with the varsity players I love working the bases because I work with a lot of older gentlemen who have trouble running the bases. Their heart is in it they really care just can’t keep up physically. Now I’ve worked with older gentleman who have said to me you shouldn’t be running into bases so fast your going to miss the call. Then I tell them how do you make a call 30 get away? I have really enjoyed umpiring the last 7 years!

Ok guys let’s stop bashing the umpires! I am an umpire and pride my self on consistency (we’ll try too). I’m not too keen on calling the extreme outside pitch a strike. I work with guys that call that. It’s not the outside pitch’s that I don’t like to see it’s the shoulder hight strikes. I will admit I will call the strike below the knee! If an umpire calls high strikes I my opinion causes bad mechanics in the kids game. Thank goodness most high schools in my area of wny are upgrading to turf fields because this rain sucks! I feel bad for these kids that can’t play.
