  1. So what your saying is that what happens in Libya doesnt effect us over here?
  2. He is just gutting the educational system instead of raising taxes. Schools are no longer going to be able to stay open if this type of budget trimming continues.
  3. Depends what you are looking to plant. If you are looking to plant something in August then just mow the golden rod a couple times during the summer and then spray it 2-4 weeks before you want to plant it. if you are looking for a spring planting then spray the golden rod while it is still young but it is all starting to grow so you are sure to get it all. Just dont let the goldenrod grow up because it will take 3x as much herbicide to kill it. A lil more info and i will be able to help you more.
  4. Yea i cut my own and 5 other ppls arrows every year and fletch them. I got a good deal on an arrow saw years ago so i just use that.

  10. Same here western, guy i fletch arrows for has made a comment to me before that his vanes tear before they come off the shaft when i make his arrows. Thats good adhesive. I enjoyed the show but felt it was a little painful to watch there skill level with a bow lol
  11. I put a Rip cord on my bow last season and love it benefits of a WB that an arrow cant fall out and benefits of a drop away, no contact with arrow. Word to the wise though stay away from NAP Tri van only cause u headaches until they come out with multiple fixes.

  14. Ok another question for you guys where do u get you powders? I was going to order them on midway but there is a 28 dollar surcharge for Haz Materials. I have a couple places around me that sell some just curious what else is out there. I am probably going to go with 4064 for the 7-08 and 30-06 not sure about 222 mag yet have to see what dealers have in stock.
  15. Yea the G5s turn on very well and show up good but after less than 5 shots you cant get them to turn off when i tried them 2 years ago. Venatic has good luck with the firenocks
  16. I have used both G5 and Carbon Express lighted nocks and prefer the Carbon Express because they are easier to operate and more fail safe
  17. We got another 12-16 inches today not good for anything here
  18. bpb i agree i wouldnt save any money buying a reloading set up, but a friend of mine owns the set up and all i have to do is order the components and use his set up. and you cannot buy 222 magnum loads except a few places around the country have to reload them.
  19. Thanks for the advice guys i printed out a bunch of reloading data from Hodgdon for all three and found several powders that will work for all three but will probably only use a common powder in the 7-08 and the 30-06. Havent nailed it down to two powders yet but thanks for the help.
  20. CVA is manufactured in the US the barrels are just made in spain
  21. Brookfield here been here for 20 years.
  22. Yea i figured powders wouldnt be interchangeable just thought i would ask. I guess i would like your recommendations by caliber then thanks for the quick responses guys.
  23. Im going to order powder and bullets for reloading my 30-06, 222 Mag and 7-08 and was looking for some advice. What types of powder would you recommend for these calibers? i would like to be able to use one powder for at least 2 of the 3 and 3 of 3 would be perfect. In the 30-06 i will be shooting 180 gr Nosler Accubonds In the 7-08 140 gr Nosler Accubonds or Federal Fusions In the 222 mag probably 55 gr
