    I think this stand needs to be about 150 yards east of here. Large group went through frolicking out there. Smaller buck just spooked, came in downwind, fast, saw me moving the xbow

    Big boy at 100 headed down hill, bleated at him and he stopped, then kept going. Think the neighbor spooked him.

    Got a hooter making a ruckus close by. Heard a deer blow hard a couple hundred yards up the hill, guessing the neighbor is out and about.

    That's interesting about the wind. Can't say I disagree with it, but you need a stand in an area where it's broken up. Which is yet another excellent reason why I need to move this stand tomorrow during the mid-day break. Spot is tucked in on the south face in an overgrown field, a gigantic pinch point, in an over grown field, downwind of a bedding area and between 2 big food sources.

    Probably not Juuuuuust yet, but maybe next week. Always try and make it to 10:30, and get in for the afternoon sit around 4 hours before dark.

    Congratulations, 17 years left for me. They should let me retire now for 5 years, then I'll work an extra 5..... I think in 5 years I could have everything set on the property to make it deervana 10 years down the road.

    You guys need to telecommute in Fridays! I got my work station open on one screen, Google Earth / weather reports / forums open on the other. No wonder I have stand indecision after staring at the map for 3 hours.

    I sliced my middle finger right on the end last Friday checking on the Crossbow 0s. Right after I got everything set up. Bled for 10 minutes with pressure on it. Used that liquid bandage stuff for the first time that night...... Stuff is great. Never got infected or split. A week later and it's healing awesome.

    I just started doing this. Good for whatever weapon your toting, but I use a screw in tree step for my backpack. Or a sawed off limb if one is handy and the right size.

    Only good impact (so far) children have had on my hunting experience, is learning that wet wipes are awesome. Keep a box of them in the truck at all times now.

    That's a no to skateboards and ebikes. My dream vehicle is a 4wd UTV 4 seater that's electric. Quiet and I can put the whole famn damily in it. "Let's go out to the farm for a drive!...... Might as well check the cameras while we're here!"
