  1. Then what the hell have you spent 22 pages arguing for? Why do you care if you don't think it will affect you? Does anyone else picture a 14 year old boy smoking a bowl of front of his computer? No way could an adult come up with the stupid shit this guy spews. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This is an excellent article on a subject I think most of are guilty of. I often find myself overthinking a bucks thoughts. I can't count how many times I have messed up a tracking hunt by thinking the buck will do this when really he just wanted to lay down and rest. http://www.bigwoodsbucks.com/Gallery/Articles/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/179/A-Trip-with-the-Old-Grizzled-Hunter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My grandparents have a house an hr north of Orlando. When I was stationed in SC I would go down a few times a year and hunt hogs. At first I hunted public land and that was tough but I managed to get a couple small ones. I ended up getting in touch with a friend of a friend that runs a cattle ranch and had real good luck on his land. The public lands I hunted were tough because it's all swamp and thick and they didn't hang out in the roads for long. My best advice is being a big gun because tracking is very tough and have one with fast follow ups because where there is one there is a bunch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Couldn't agree more! I look forward to hanging up the vertical bow and carrying the Xbow it's something different, just as I like leaving the rifles behind and bringing out the smoke pole. That's why I like it the way it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Haha, my dog knows he's not allowed in my bed when I'm in there but my feet usually aren't on the floor before he is in there snuggling into my pillows. He's about 140lbs and even with a king bed there isn't room for the 3 of us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You didn't give me shit, as I have said a bunch of times before I DONT WANT FULL INCLUSION. What I am saying is you rambling on with your stupidity is hurting your cause if you are too dumb to see it yourself I'm sure you won't listen to me but I would sure appreciate it because as much as it hurts to say you and I actually agree on something although for vastly different reasons. So until you can come up with something better than hurting your "your public land spots" just let this one lay. Hell i'm about to call and send in a letter myself just so I can go against your stupidity! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Timing

Me personally I wouldn't be hunting a trail that goes a week without a deer going on it. And that's counting the Adirondacks where there are no deer. I run about 10 cameras year round and it has taught me one thing. Deer are naturally nocturnal 95%+ of my pictures come at night. So taking that into account a deer is most likely going to pass your spot at night and if you have been there a few days in a row the likely hood of a deer passing your spot at night and smelling your scent is way higher than if you hunt it 1 day a week. 8. You have me beat by a long shot! The longest sit I have ever made in a stand or blind was about 3 hrs and that's only because I had a spike and a small doe that he had been dogging around me bed down under me and I couldn't leave with a hot doe under me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Compass country by dale wood. It's about a fella that had a tent camp in the ADKS and hunted with family and friends. It's digital as well so you can get it on your phone. Excellent read about big woods hunting and camps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The more you go on you are hurting your own side, it would greatly behoove you to let this one lay until you can come up with something to validate your side. I'm saying this and I'm somewhat on your side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This is the coldest 42 degrees I have ever felt. I Didn't wear enough clothes that for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Well this is pretty sad, I hung a stand last fall in an awesome funnel in a piece of my 100acre plot that I try to leave untouched until nov. just walked around for half an hr looking for it and can't find it anywhere. I'm almost hoping someone stole it because that would make me feel better but it's highly doubtful because they would have walked past about 5 other stands to get to it. I guess there is good and bad to having 14 stands in 100 acres, walked back a couple hundred yards and climbed in this one I'll try to find it again when I get down to still hunt in a bit. 17. I had an eye injury on my dominant eye so it won't close so I needed to be able to shoot both eyes open opposite handed when I had shoulder surgery. It did exactly what I needed it to. I think I bought the mount on eBay. I have since went back to shooting left handed but it worked well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. So far this rifle season I have carried my tikka t3 35whelen, Ruger 44mag carbine, Remington 760 35rem, tonight I carried my Ruger 77/44, but my main gun this season is this project 7600 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Is 1 week enough to spend money on a muzzleloader and tags? The amount of shots I hear says 2 weeks should be plenty, especially when it's the best 2 weeks of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
