Like I have said before I'm not a fan of full inclusion but if that is your reason for not calling them a bow you need to do a little research on weapon history, crossbows were around hundreds of years before everything you listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'm not a fan of full inclusion but saying a Xbow isn't a bow is pure ignorance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
How do you pass the time on all day sits???

I climb down after an hr or 2 and still hunt until they last hr or 2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Don't own a bar way too heavy for me. My 742's will do about the same 2" my 7400's might average a little better but both of my 750's "308 and 35whelen both factory carbines" will shoot under 1.5" the 308 is a little better but that could be me because the whelen kicks a lot harder. I don't own a lead sled so I'm sure I could improve all of these some because these groups were shot of a bench with a sandbag. I also have never tried to work up a load for any of them. I could walk out the door and hunt my 400 acres but I choose to drive 89 miles each way to hunt public land. -

I just gave away my 10 year old excal away last week or I would have sent it to you to use. The old girl was loud but she took a bunch of little southern deer. The young fella I have it to will hopefully keep her killing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Some of my best seasons have had the worst starts. About the only thing you could do to make it worse is stop hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Never used one but if you're in doubt you should change it out. I sold my factory scope from my Stryker to a guy that had a Barnett but I don't know the model. Check eBay your current scope might be worth something to off set the new ones cost, I got double what I wanted for mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wear rubber boots for work and have tried rocky, cabelas, muck, underarmor and laccrose. Lacrosse are by far the best in my opinion. I buy a new pair every year for hunting and last years pair goes to work. I can't wear boots that are sloshy and the lacrosse's have the best fit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can honestly say I don't have a favorite, they all do somethings better than others. My least favorite would be levers for sure. I think a bout we come in 2nd to last, to me they don't do anything better than the others. I like single because they are short light and accurate. I like semis and pumps because they are handy to carry provide very fast follow ups and can be just as accurate as the others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just wish they would change southern zone to the same way Northern is and have a week long smoke pole season before rifle and you can use your Xbow if you want. That makes everyone happy. The guys who don't want to practice with a Vert bow can still kill deer before it gets too cold, the very guys don't have Xbow guys in the woods with them. The vert bow guys loose a week of season but they still would have a nearly6 week season to themselves and the state gets what they want because more deer will be killed. Snow flurries, Wool pants, a 7600 carbine and an Adirondack sunrise. There is no place I would rather be! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got out of work at 7 last night spent an hr with my daughter before tucking her in bed. Packed for camp left home around 11 got here at 1:30 slept until 3:30 hiked up on top, now I'm sitting on top of a mountain waiting for daylight so I can start still hunting. Beautiful cool crisp morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My most recent 7600 project
Buckmaster7600 replied to Buckmaster7600's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
If done properly it has zero negative effect on accuracy and can actually make them shoot a little better because they are I pretty thin barrel. With a thin barrel the shorter it is the more stiff it is and in theory a stiff barrel is a accurate barrel. What you do loose is velocity, something that doesn't bother me but it does some. I figure with the testing I have done with a bunch of different rifles and with a lot of caliber snow that you loose 1 level of cartridge by Loosing 4"s of barrel "30-06 becomes a 308, 35whelen-358win, 308-300savage etc." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
