Slick tricks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If conservation is the biggest problem why not allow hunters to fill others tags? This won't cost us any tax money and will solve some of the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If NY would smarten up and issue # of tags based on acres owned and not the same amount for everyone this issue would be almost solved. Although I am against it as well the same ones that are complaining about not enough deer being shot are the same ones that complain when people fill other people's tags. By your theory of not enough deer being killed they are doing everyone a favor! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Correct me if I'm wrong, most of you whom are complaining about access are from a city correct? I have never lived in a city and never will but I would be willing to bet that city folk that hunt have had a harder time gaining access to private land and had to travel further/work harder to hunt public lands as well. I think it's a terrible "point of reference" for newbies especially because most newbies are young and are not pulling back a lot of draw weight. I like the idea of aiming for the exit. It is very important to know that an exit is extremely unlikely with a shoulder hit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would rather catch a lung and liver and have a nice low exit hole. When you have a high entrance with a double lung hit you are like to get little or no blood from the entrance. The blood you will get will come from the mouth and that's often very light. To each's own, I want 2 holes and lots of blood. I would rather follow a great blood trail for 150yds than be on my hands and knees for 75yds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So because we already spend millions on "conservation" why not add to it and have to pay more for something only a few will use! I have a way better idea how about the state starts issuing rage based on acreage owned. You don't own land you get the bare minimum. You get X # of doe and buck tags for a given acreage. That would solve this conservation issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trials and tribulations of broadhead sighting.....

If your draw is 30" I highly recommend going up a spine from what a chart says. I have a 31" draw and I have to do the same thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
All of you that are saying aim for the other shoulder. When I'm bow hunting the last thing I want to do is hit a shoulder especially from a tree stand because I want 2 holes. I'll hold as far back as I need to on a quartering shot to ensure I won't hit shoulder. If the angle is too steep to not be able to get into vitals without hitting shoulder I won't shoot. With a gun there isn't an angle that I won't shoot as long as I can get a bullet into the vitals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He is paper tuning, why would anyone pay someone to tune a bow? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What arrow are you shooting now? What's your draw weight and length and bow? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
"I bet most of us would hate to know how much money per pound of meat we are spending. " That's the difference right there! Those of us who own land know exactly how much we pay because the Gov. Sends us a bill! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Exactly, I live without so I don't have to worry about someone else ruining one of my hunts. Yesterday at work a guy was bragging about his awesome new in ground swimming pool and showing pictures of it when another guy and I were talking about hunting and showing cam pics the guy with the new pool asked me when I was going to let him come hunt my land. When I said never he got pissy I then told him that there was 100acres down the road for sale, he laughed and said he couldn't afford it. It made my dip in my 199$ pool from Walmart so much more enjoyable watching deer in MY back field from it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I warned you that you would get very mad I also warned you about over shooting because form would go to hell. Take a couple days off and give it another whirl. It will be worth it trust me! I would never step into the woods without a bow that is perfectly tuned for reasons I stated earlier. Hunting with a bow that isn't tuned is like hunting with a loose scope mount. You will never know for sure where it will land. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I hit one there once after hitting a limb. I watched him fall wishing 15 yds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The problem with incentives is it would be monetary and who would pay for that? I personally don't like paying for others to do things I have to pay for myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I resharpen my slick tricks. Why pay 10$ for something I can do in 30sec. If my brother rage blades didn't always end up bent I would resharpen them for him as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea, less draw equals less energy lets shoot one of that vest broad heads that are made. Yes when rages stay together they are devastating. I would rather have a 1" cut broadhead make 18"s of lent ration than a 2" cut make 6"s of penetration. Use what ever you want but your was of thinking isn't correct. This is from rage, read the last sentence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My daughter and I were out squirrel hunting this morning when she said "dad deer." These 2 fawns come out about 12 yrds in front of us and this one walked right up to us. My daughter was shaking so bad I could hear her teeth rattling. When she got around the tree she was on my daughters side and licker her boot before running off. This is what it's all about her eyes are still the size of dinner plates and can't stop talking about it.https://vimeo.com/181511473 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My daughter and I went out this morning and got two 1 with the 22 pistol one the 410. As we were sitting next to a tree having a snack my daughter said dad deer I looked over and 2 fawns popes out about 12 yds from us fed right beside to about 5ft. I could hear my daughters teeth chattering she was shaking so bad. What a great experience in the woods.https://vimeo.com/181510463 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On my katana I have a leupold vx2 2-7 Rimfire mounted on a hha. I will most likely never touch the hha in the woods because it shoots extremely flat out to 40yds. I have yet to find a crossbow scope that isn't to busy inside for me. I like crosshairs and that's it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He just posted that he only draws 50lbs and you recommend one of the largest diameter heads on the market? Not wise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All packed and ready to go for the morning, first go of the year got the 22 revolver and the trusty 20ga all ready for battle hope the tree rats cooperate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
