  1. Actually that’s a lie I like the hunting public’s turkey hunts. Have never watched their deer hunts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Couldn’t tell you the last time I watched a hunting show…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Go there tonight! Where he is today could be miles from where he is tomorrow let alone 2 weeks! Too much emphasis is put on pressure in modern hunting! I will hunt where they are today over where they might be in 2 weeks every time!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Her great grandfather, my grandfather. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’m stuck in punta Cana for a wedding so i missed it but my daughter maddy got it done tonight with her great grandfather! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Congrats Paul, way to get on the board! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If your a hunter or a shooter that was alive for the 2012 shortage and weren’t prepared for this the problem is on your mirror! I probably haven’t went a full week without buying ammo since this one started but it’s nothing I “need” I just know that it can get worse so I’d rather have it and not need it. Ammo prices had been very stagnant for a long time it was due to go up eventually. A box of core-lokts have been 15$ for the 20 years I’ve been buying them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I killed my biggest archery NY buck with a stihl pole saw laying under tree, after hanging stand and clearing shooting lanes. I planned on going to a different stand after doing the work but saw 3 deer while the saw was running so I lowered it out of the tree and pulled my bow up. I agree with fade, I am a very aggressive hunter especially in November! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. No idea, big brother was driving and I was in back seat. I said deer, holy fuc* that’s a slammer he slowed down but not fast enough for me to get pic. I absolutely hate traveling so we didn’t fuc * around and got to air port but probably biggest buck I’ve ever seen on the hoof in the middle of the city… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Saw an absolute slammer in New Jersey on our way to JFK this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Makes me not hate my best friend for deciding to get married this Friday in punta Cana, looks like I’ll be getting back just in time for the temp change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My point is not that long ago no one hunted for the pride, accomplishment or bragging rights of killing a critter. Honor wasn’t ever thought of when killing a deer. Growing up up here all the old timers always talked about eating a July deer “also known as a garden deer.” And how there used to be an extra week at the end of season in the northern zone known as guides/locals week it wasn’t legal but it’s what they did because many were busy dealing with the tourist hunters and didn’t have time to get out themselves until after the season was closed. Where is the old timers honor that is lost today? If a hunter is killing what the state allows and is consuming what he shoots I couldn’t care less how they do it. I don’t like the guys that fill their family’s tags, and I don’t like the guys that just shoot shit to shoot shot and wastes the meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I look at it the exact same as I did the asinine sunrise sunset laws up until this year. If heard the neighbors shoot after sunset I didn’t report them, because I don’t care. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What honor is slipping away? Before hunters started thinking it was their deer no one gave a shit what others did. If you didn’t think it was “unfair” or that they had an “advantage” you wouldn’t give a shit either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. All I’ve been hearing is that there’s no difference between the two. No way am I reporting someone for doing something that doesn’t give them an advantage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Are you for or against full inclusion? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I like it! I would always rather swing at strike 3 than watch it go by! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This is obvious, I used to think Americans weren’t as gullible and as easily persuaded as some are. It’s absolutely sickening, all over a bullshit, man made scandemick! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I’ve been wearing merino base layers when it’s cold for probably 20yrs. If it’s above 20ish I wear under armor heat gear under my wool. It wicks well and is light enough that I don’t sweat too much. My problem with them is their quality is going down with the last 2 sets I’ve bought haven’t held up more than a season. My first pair probably lasted 10yrs. I’m looking for something similar that will hold up better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m a firm believer that camo makes ZERO difference for hunting other than snow camo. When on the ground in the snow you disappear with snow camo. I’m a big believer in gray’s in a tree stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. For accuracy I shoot with an eye closed. When shooting moving targets I keep eye open until I start squeezing then my non shooting eye closes briefly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Bow- my longbow Crossbow- depends on the day and state Rifle- depends on the day but it will probably be a pump and 35 caliber Muzzleloader-woodman arms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. My new house will be finished after hunting season and it is completely off grid, I can’t wait to move in. No mortgage, zero electric bill. 1000gal underground propane tank. I don’t like the idea of a safe deposit box. I put a safety shelter “safe room” in basement. Cashless scares me as well, I have some cash stashed but most of that savings is in rare metals and ammo, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have skipped retirement savings for years in favor of preparation for the country’s imminent financial destruction. I’m in great shape until one of our enemies attack is while we are weakened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Not only that but many guardsmen have a regular job in the same field so who’s going to fill that position? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
