Not that I'm saying any of above is right but when I was young everybody put their dead deer on the top of the vehicle and it was normal and no one cared. Now we need to be so PC because it might offend someone where food comes from. See where that has got us too now in the crazy PC world where everyone gets s participation trophy! I'm not sure hiding our hunting pastime is helping at all. You can also be respectful to the animal I'm not saying to do otherwise. It's just this oh hide what we do! I'm not ashamed of my hunting why should we be! My rant lol

41 here and wind down to 10-15. Got out late in stand at 7. 2 shots close on the neighbors prop. Not where I wanted to be this morn but due to the wind here I am. It was crazy windy overnight so maybe something will get up and move. Winter storm coming so airtime today will be good somewhere!

They were on the road had bright tops on and vests for the dogs. One looked pretty good waking away in her tights too!

Deer gods not with me yet today! I sit in stand 5 hours till noon seen jack. Get down walk to truck have lunch relax for a few. I'm on state land. Getting geared up two nice ladies walk their dogs by. I walk down road cut in woods about 50 feet behind them walking. Take 5-6 steps see a flash up hill, err deer, rrrrr buck. Running crossways nice buck but I can't register it all that quick. If I shoot I'm gonna scare the shit outa those ladies and dogs. I grunt and stop him, can't see rack or head but have shoulder in the cross hairs at 70 yards...... Is he bigger than the one I got in bow?do I want him.?....Off he goes. Now I'm back in stand to see nothing for next 2.5 hours wondering if I shoulda dropped him. @&%#€¥£!!

What a bust so far ! 2 grouse .

Lots of shooting early way off died off pretty much an hour ago. No shooting close by. One grouse, one deer walked by in the dark and a bunch of nothin since! Booo

First shot here 6:35 Man I got my ass up that damn hill loud as heck with all the crunching and snappin! Get started in climber and hear a deer coming stop wait then ease up. Set top strap and pulling feet out bottom it comes loose oh sheet! Finally got that pulled back up and situated. All strapped in ready to go. Couple more grey hairs. A daytime deer sighting would really be nice this morning! Good luck out there!

11/20 pm 47 Just slipped out in the field edge pine for an hour. Sent out the bow season. I'm beat hitting the sack. 4 am comes early!

11/20 am 42 Sat down in the hole for 2.5 hours. I had at least a couple walk by me before light. After the sun came up it was quiet! Zip Then headed down south to state land and hiked flipping miles looking for a new spot. Ended up hiking all the way out and put my climber in my usual spot up that dang ridge! It's a bear climbing up in the morn but the drag is a push and watch it go! Guess I thought I just needed a 10 mile hike today!

40 just a slight wind and crunchy. Already had at least two go by before light. Let's hope something does that after sunrise.

11/19 pm 62 Just got out for an hour in the tower. Man it is warm!! Not much going on except the neighbor starting to shoot at dusk. I still hear them now as I write this. Not sure what you are shooting at after dark every 3 minutes or so?? I have tomorrow off so a good morning sit and then run down to Tully to pop in my climber for opening rifle morning. The deer movement has been pretty poor to hunt home on the opener like we did last year. Not sure if it is a right move but it is a move!! Hit a few stores this week to pick up some Lightfield 20 gauge and nobody has even a box. That is weird from Syracuse to Auburn nobody. I got 6 shells so I'm not worried. I will hunt rifle the opener then probably ML after that anyway.

Front what I have seen of the guy he seems pretty solid to me. His shows are some of the few that are any good.

Man it's warm out here! 62 sprinkling. Used my brain for once and came out for a short sit in the covered tower so it probably won't end up raining much!

TC Triumph pushing 150g 777 to a 250g Shock Wave. This gun shoots so smooth and accurate. I have it topped with a Nikon and is one of my favorites.

I manage production facilities in Brooklyn, LIC, LI...as well as many other big people filled cities...Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte..... I get really good employees to keep them running very well so I do not need to visit hardly at all and can stay up here working out of my home office in the boonies and hunt out my back door!! NYC may be the greatest city in the world but you best be offering me 7 digits a year to even think about living there/working there full time!! All those people freak me out especially since I really am not a fan of most people!! lol
