My brother shot at a small buck last eve around 4 he could not find sign of hit so i went over to help him after dark when I got home. I found the hit site with just some white hair. The shot was a lot farther than he judged. I am thinking he grazed right under it. We are in here this morn so I will check on it in a bit. Then just a bit ago he is shooting like s war up the ridge. He better have a deer! I put one last fall on a doe carcass. I don't have the pics on my phone but I had 2 yotes, 2 fixes, crows and a fisher who hit it regularly. Even digging back down to the bones after feet of snow. Also had a hawk on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will be sick as well Friday if there is snow on the ground. Saturday all day. Sunday I'll be in Rochester all day for my sons volleyball tournament. Monday am only and Tuesday already took off. I am really hoping for some snow cause at this point I need the help!

I went to Potsdam back in the day. My moms side is from Bombay. And I have a cousin in Ogdensburg been all over that west and north area over the years. Nice country but not a lot of jobs and long winter!

I have seen 5 hunters since I got on last watch! 4 doing a drive at 3pm then another 30 minutes later Kik something to me!!

48 here in 7m Had a 4 pointer cut in front of me outa one of my spots as I passed on the way south this morn. Saw a couple more standing off the side of 81. Was hoping it was a sign I might see something moving this morn but not yet! All I have seen is a red squirrel and a jogger The squirrel was too small and the jogger too fast!

12/12 am Sat 4.5 hours in the hole. Nothing but a truckload of squirrels. I figured out what may be the lack if deer behind the house. There were a couple bean fields a mile down the road but those got cut right about end of October. My buck shot last week of October was full of them. I thought that was it I don't go that way a lot.
