11/15 pm 55 Out back in the fav stand for 2 hours real quiet. Last bow watch was a big nothing. Good luck tomorrow all. The whole gang of us will be down in Tully. There is still just a touch of snow on the ground there. It will be gone after midday tomorrow.

11/15 am 40 Down in the hole stand for 3 hours real nice morning. To nice for deer to move. Nothing.

11/14 am 30 Out in the tower blind out back for two hours no sightings. One day to go!

11/13 pm 33 Fired the 30-30, the 7mm mag and the 20 gauge Deerslayer after lunch all on the money. Got out in the deep hole stand for 2 hours nothing up.

11/13 am 21 3 hours in fav stand behind the house. Man it was ccold! Had the spike go by me at 35 yards at around 8am.

11/9 am Deep hole stand for 1 hour. Screwed up a shot on a sweet 8 pointer. Off to Wisconsin for Eagles - Packers game.

11/8 Down in the hole for 2 hours no sightings

11/7 am Out back for 1.5 no sightings.

so today that would be an 11 hour sit. The most I have done is 6 or 7 hours in one spot, I hunt before work and after so I get a lot of short sits. And on days off and weekends I will hunt 3 to 4 hours then take a break and get back in for the last 3 or 4. Gun I will still hunt or such between stands. 11 hours would seem like punishment to me. I enjoy the way I do it now. I must need a lot more comfy stands!!

Eddie shoot some arrows to get your confidence back and get back out there. I can tell you any poor shot I have made is when I rush.

Used to be mandatory stop coming out of Tully years ago. Roadblock stopped every car and if you had deer you were pulled off to check tags and such. Never had an issue they were all pretty nice. Then the check was along 81 just north of Tully and then money ran out now It is there for a few hours opening day for research I think. I hunt all day so it is gone when I come through.

11/6 am 47 Out in the fav stand behind the house for 3 hours. At 7am had a small buck, looked like the 3 point, cut across my left about 75 yards out. Around 7:30am had a 4 point come in and he was directly down wind and real skittish. He stood under 20 yards from me for over 20 minutes never looking up at me but facing me. I was standing and had my bow in hand and my other arm rested at an angle between me and the tree. Well for ten minutes that was comfortable! try holding your bow up and not wiggle for 20 minutes! And my other arm was falling asleep. He was standing their chewing his cud and smelling and ears swiveling, just real spooky. He finally turned and walked off not sure if I could have even pulled the bow back with my arm half asleep!! he was small enough to live for one more week. My bro got out as well but did not see anything.

11/5 pm 46 Snuck out to a stand just along a field edge about 20 yards off the back left of the lawn. Only had 45 minutes of hunting time. Had one walking into me right before dark never saw it in the brush but it was down wind of me and worked away about 50 yards and the blew a couple times and that was that.

in central I am seeing small bucks moving more during daylight. I am thinking next week is gonna be best chase week.

That sucks about camp. Scum like that just need a serious ass woopin! I would put a good cam 15 foot up a tree covering the door with a solar charger. Well hidden. Good luck on your last couple days! I am sad to see bow almost done so quick.

11/5 am 34 Out in my fav stand behind the house. Just around 6:45 I heard a deer running and from my right came a small flat. Stopped and the ran the stopped and ran across. I hear steps coming from where that one came and see another flat. She walks right broadside in front of me at 28 yards and stops. She looks pretty small, I pull up on her and contemplating and she turns right at me I am thinking she is really small so do not shoot. She takes off and stops about 80 off walks a bit away then starts blowing! Shoulda let the air out of her! Sat for 2 hours that was it.

11/4 pm 36 Down in the deep hole stand for 2.5 hours and did not see or hear anything.

11/4 am 21 Man was it cold this morning, Good thing I wore my big boy boots! In the stand as usual a good 30 minutes before light behind the house. Just for reference all the times I reference in the stand I just log the actual hours after legal light not all the time beforehand. I did hear a fox or yote scamper through in the dark. I sat for close to 3 hours before I heard some commotion behind me. I saw a couple flatheads run in and across behind me, looked to be a doe and a fawn. They went through abut 80 yards behind me. A few minutes later I hear a grunt and see a small buck, maybe a 4 point come through and then swing out off my right side off the trail of the two flats. A few minutes later another comes in, a 3 point and he is 50 yards out behind me eating. I then see another about 90 out following the creek bed in the direction the does went, maybe a 4 or 6 point if he had brows. All 1.5 year olds. After a bit the 3 moves off following the direction the does and one buck went. About 10 minutes later I hear something behind me and here comes the 3 point right up behind me about 20 yards out and back the way he originally came from. To little to shoot yet. Sat 4 hours total.

First we have tons of apples as well. Trees that had no apples for years have apples on them?

Brrrrr cold 21 when I sat down 3 hours later around 9 starting seeing deer Has a doe and fawn hustle out then three small bucks the 3 bucks went three did ways just searching and harassing does Passed the 3 point at 20 all rest too far out Got dentist so need to get down shortly, sure now that it is a balmy 32! 11/2 pm 36 Down in the deeper hole stand for 3 more hours and nothing. Was a great cold evening. Bro saw one over 100 yards out BIL saw zip. I have no idea what is up, 14 hours in stand the first three days of November and not one deer sighted? Back at it in the morning. Will be frost tonight.

11/2 am 32 Man beautiful morning out, saw one deer in the neighbors yard driving to spot. Sat in the outer hole stand for 3 hours and another wiff. Both bros zip as well!

11/1 pm 49 Out back again and jumped a buck from near the stand on the way in. rrr Sat for 3 hours again nothing, both bros zip as well.

11/1 am 49 Out behind the house in my #1 ladder stand. Sat 3 hours not a hair. Bro saw zip as well. My bro in law was down the road in 3 Rivers and had a 2.5 yr old buck chasing a doe and killed a twig he did not see.
