Sitting in the Tower for 2020 last watch. Reminiscing about the past season. I’ve taken 3 from the home acreage this year so doubt I’ll shoot one if I see it but who knows I’ve got a virgin CVA with me. Still part of Friday’s gut pile left. I’d love to smack a yote! That is quite interesting. The whole deer method I can't see how anything but the outer half inch of meat is getting smoked. But then again I never smoked anything for more than 20 hours lol. Its gotta smell amazing!

I don't know squat about tractors but would say the tractor itself would not be worth more than 8-9 grand.

Well after 2 more weeks of seeing zero deer from the stand I finally persisted long enough! With the really cold temps I had put a couple morning sits in the tower with no luck so Friday I decided to get into work early and get out in the tower for the PM sit. I have history of does late in the season when it is cold with snow down sooner or later coming outa the bedding area on the neighbors and sneaking across the back line of my property occasionally before dark. I missed a nice doe there late last year and took one the year prior. I got up in the tower and had the Heater Buddy kickin. It was about 26 out and I did not even have my outer coat on. Pretty slow until 4:15 when I see a deer coming across from the bedding area. It was a doe and a fawn. She gave me a good shot at about 70 yards and we made a cloud of smoke. When that cleared she was laying where she had stood. Nice doe. Not as big as the last but 110 dressed. Nice easy drag in the snow. Its' been a good season.

Way to go guys!! Buckmaster that is some shooting when all that is sticking outa the snow is their ears its so deep lol!! Hope your not too far in! I can not see myself not getting back in the woods the next 3.5 days!! I might just have to...... I took a hike out back to hang a cam over the gut pile from last night and there are tracks from last night all over.

Nice chunk doe to top the freezer! So many days not seeing a deer. I knew sooner or later the tower would produce. I have been blessed with a freezer full. That’s a wrap for me. I've used this method a couple times and it works.

I got into work early instead of hitting first watch. I hope/will/better get out around 2pm. I have seen one deer from stand, which was an unshootable buck, and nothing but tails since 11/25 when I shot the doe. Holy crap that is pizz poor! That is why I do not keep a journal of every sit after bow. I would get demoralized!

You guys and your sticks and strings!! Burn some dang powder and kill us something!! LOL I getting wound up stuck in here on this call!!

I might be making like a snow drift and cut that down to 150 and send it!! Don't tell me you got a bow too!! I'm hunting through you guys right now!!
