    Took the drive and the long walk to my ladder on the island between the corn fields. Have not been here sense last week of bow. Seems someone found it and has been sitting it. Left a scent wick. It’s public so no worries. Wonder if they got anything to confirm I put it in a good spot lol. I got a new spot for it next year. 36 degrees and there’s was a dozen cars when I left the lot.     I actually look forward to the last few days of ML. I should have some snow and the woods have settled a little and not many folks out. The 10-12 days after the initial 2-3 days of gun are usually very poor for my group.

    I'd let him pass too. I have no buck tags lol. My biggest bodied deer here this year on cam pre season was a buck with only one side, 4 points. I guessed him at 3.5 so he had more potential but if I'd have seen him he would have died. But I would of had no others better i Knew of and small property with a lot of hunters nearby.

    I have killed a bunch and have pics of all but 1 Button Buck. I went back years ago and entered a small summary on each kill at the advice of my wife who said with my families history and my memory already lol I would start forgetting. I still have that one button I can not recall but otherwise I have each story and pic. I also have every rack in my office here in one place or another.

    The past week was no big surprise. Low sightings after the initial pumpkin blast. Saw one buck but I'm doe only and no shot anyway. Jumped a couple here and there. I plan to get out the next few mornings. I would really like to knock down one more doe to top off the freezer or two to share as my hunting buddies general suck at shooting deer lol.

    I keep a photo album that has every deer I have ever shot. I also keep a journal on here. After the season I cut and past that journal in Word, edit it up and print a copy. I have many years saved up and its fun reminiscing.
