    Just noticed I have a doe bedded 30 yds to my right. No idea if she snuck in somehow or if she has been there all morning. Saw its head move and thought it was a squirrel

    In for my last archery hunt since 6:15. In the stand I shot the 9pt last Saturday. Not 100% sure I will take a doe especially with the lack of deer this year but if a lone big girl shows up it will be a game time decision. Perfect wind. Just happy to be in a stand instead of at work.

    I have a Brute Force 750. I wish it had more power.......It isn't always needed but when it is, and you don't have it, you can't change it...

    Well i thought my bow season was done but just saw my boss and asked him if he minded if i took tomorrow off. He said go for it!!!

    There are tons of people using crossbows that are too narrow. I bought the Scorpyd because it was the best performing crossbow at a legal width. I'll probably sell it if the law changes and get something narrow. They are much nicer all around....

    I always have a couple slim jims and some candy bars in my back pack. Usually i have to throw them out at the beginning of the season next year but they are there if i want them....

    Right spot at the right time is what it is all about......90% of the time i'm in the wrong spot. Hopefully that 10% of the time will happen Saturday morning for me....
