Thinking about getting this car port for my boat. Arrow 12 ft. W x 24 ft. D x 7 ft. H Galvanized Black/Eggshell Steel Wind and Snow Rated Carport-CPH122407 - The Home Depot I have always stored it under a tarp style car port in the summer and inside storage in the winter. I lost my indoor storage spot and just tarped the boat last winter. It worked ok but i wasn't super happy with the set up i had. I have been looking for indoor storage again and prices are a lot more than i was paying. Thinking about buying one of these and keeping the boat under it all year. Anyone have any experience with these? The reviews seem to be all over the place, from complete junk to the best thing ever....

I had a 1975 Buick Skylark when i was 16. I used to put my shotgun up on the "shelf" behind the backseat right infront of the rear window because i didn't have a pickup truck. It was always there during school etc. I graduated in 1991. Nobody ever gave a thought that i was going to shoot up a school.

Your point here is make it to work on time. I agree, But if you are taking a check from us taxpayers and not from your employment, and you can afford drugs, then you can afford less of a check....

I am not a big government guy. My belief is the biggest thing the government should be doing for all of us is keeping us safe. Now, i don't mean seat belt laws, mask mandates, gun control, making us eat our green beans or anything that should be a personal choice. I mean safe from national and criminal threats. We have left Afghanistan in control of the Taliban. So after 20 years we are back to where we were pre 9/11. How do we let that happen? Our President says the war is over but should the war on terror ever be over? To think that terrorism isn't going to happen anymore is insane. We are told our intelligence has never been better and it will be a different kind of war and then we drone strike a van full of children. How good is our intelligence? We have had at least a million people pour over our border. Those are the ones that were caught and released. How much vetting are these people getting? Does anyone really believe they are getting a detailed vetting with the number of people coming through? If 1% of those people are terrorists, gang members, murderers, drug runners etc, that is 10000 bad guys we let in our country. I'm guessing that number is greater than 1%. Our police force is demoralized. They aren't receiving any support from our elected officials. They are retiring or quitting in droves and there is a severe lack of new recruits. They have gone from policing to being clean up crews that arrive after the mess. I don't blame them at all. We are to blame for letting this happen. Our President's UN speech, didn't mention a single word about China (IMO our biggest adversary). Said endless diplomacy over endless arms. (which to me is saying we will just talk instead of punching you in the mouth). Didn't mention our tensions with France or other allies. Most of it was about climate change. Our President believes Climate change and white God loving Christians are the biggest threats to our Nation. In my opinion, those aren't even in the top 20 when i leave my door in the morning. I am pretty sure that the sun isn't going to vaporize me today or is a church going Christian going to do anything to me. Now i don't leave my door in the morning with a lot of worry about my safety Thankfully, but unlike a year or two ago, I am more concerned about running into a BLM protest, being robbed by a crack head or heroin addict while at work, or my daughter being harassed by Mexicans at from the track or BLM while working in Saratoga? Are we safer???

I know it was a rainy summer but i didn't think the weather was that bad here....

Noticing very little change in the capital region. Was out on Sacandaga Lake Saturday and there was a little more color than the previous week but still not much change...

The FAA has shut down drone flying to capture the crisis at the border. They are doing everything they can to show that there isn't an issue...

What is there to see? A person that made billions by making smart decisions, with a smart idea or a corrupt politician (Biden) making millions on kickbacks, bribes etc. To me, its exactly like hunting. I don't care how you hunt, what you shoot, buck, doe, fawns, BB as long as it is legal. I don't care how much money someone makes, good for them, as long as it is legal. What you are saying is who cares if he shot it in the dark with a spotlight over a pile of corn, it was just a small deer....and not a monster buck.

I have walked in the door and right back out of any business that is still requiring masks. Thankfully there are very few of them now. I have contacted and spoken too the school board regarding mask wearing in school as well as our local government.

So you are ok with politicians making millions on bribes etc because that is small fish but self made billionaires are evil. Somehow that makes sense to you? No wonder I will never see things your way....
