Geez wolc, do you watch the news? We are dealing the with black plague, great depression, riots of the 60's and the cold war (now with China) all at the same time. On top of that we have 50% of the nation believing anything that our President does is not only bad, it is demonic.

I agree with all of this except not voting.....I have to vote even though I realize it is fruitless so I get why you don't.

I am 47, not only am I worried about what the future for myself but my 15 year old daughter is growing up in a very different world then I did. Between this crazy virus, shutting down the country, these riots, protests, calls for defunding the police, community leaders allowing it to happen, police officers, national guard kneeling before rioters. This is all just completely insane. This has to be just the loud minority right?

I live just outside Saratoga, a left wing town in the middle of a mostly red county. My daughter and wife went to target and went through Saratoga and said that there were tons of protesters with signs, some right out in the street. Got me thinking, what do you do if the riots start where you live. Do you pack up and bug out? Hunker down and hope they leave your property alone? Gear up and stand on your porch armed and ready? Gear up and stay hunkered down in your house? Arm your neighbors? Are you prepared if people start throwing bricks at your house? What if its an explosive cocktail? Is throwing bricks a deadly act? This world is really becoming disgusting......

To me the Mag lock is a gray area. I ordered two of them. Ended up going featureless instead.....

Other than a gobble, what is a positive response? Is it the way they gobble? The few times I have tagged along with my buddy since I have tagged out we have heard gobbling in the roost but when they hit the ground they gobble back while getting farther away. I think my buddy calls to much but I really have no idea and he has killed a lot of birds.

I tagged along with my hunting buddy yesterday later in the morning for something to do.....Had 2 Hens come into the field at 11:15 and right to the decoys. They hung out till we scared them off at noon. We were sweltering and were not going to wait until they decided to leave. No Toms but they did come in late. Pulling for you guys!!!

I have a Vortex Venom and with their customer service I would have no issue buying a Vortex product but your Nikon is a nice scope.....I have a prostaff 3x9x40. Only thing I don't care for is the BDC reticle..... So my recommendation is keep what you got and buy ammo or a treestand or some hunting gear.....There is always something to spend money on......

I like the looks of those.....I am using a Vortex Venom on my 12GA but would like something for my 20GA. How are they working out for you?

You wouldn't be getting up before the crack of dawn and spending all that time in the woods if you didn't love all the other things about hunting. Whether you and your daughter get a bird or not you are going to remember all those times together when she is all grown up. My daughter is 15 and I would love to get her out there with me but she just has no interest at all. Probably all the times I took her deer hunting and couldn't see a deer to save my life. You have had action! Get back on the horse and get out there with her when her exams are over.....Pulling for you guys!!!

Will do but I might just wait until I get the spring. I spending my free time turkey hunting so won't be out shooting until May is over. If I have the new spring buy then I will just swap it, if I don't I pull the buffer and cut the spring. Next time I take it apart I am going to measure the depth of the buffer tube as well. Thanks for you help and suggestions! I appreciate it!

I emailed the person I got the buffer and spring from. Just got back to me and told me to cut a coil off the spring and that he would send me a new shorter spring as soon as he got them in.....

Honestly, I can't be 100% sure. I ordered a AR10 buffer so I assume it is but I have never had the buffer out of my 15 to compare the two. I am assuming I got what I paid for..
