  1. There are going to plenty of times if you hunt enough places and animals that you might have to wait till the morning to make your recovery. Doesn’t mean that in every case the meat will be bad. There are lots of considerations. Distilling something like meat care in neat little boxed answers is fine in the kitchen but may not work so well out in the back county. Every case and situation is going to be different . By taking a nuanced topic without understanding or thinking about the variables isn’t doing anyone a service. There is lots of gray out there that you have to wade though to get to right decision.
  2. Just checked the link…thanks for posting it. I am good till 2025
  3. I did mine a couple years ago, other the confirmation that they received it never heard a word back.
  4. The only thing absolute about speaking in absolutes is that it Demonstrates ignorance.
  5. I haven’t gutted any big game except whitetails in the last 15 years or so. Try again. Edit : I gut lopes as well as you can alway almost drive up to pick them up
  6. Depending on the day, I would come for sure. That’s close by for me
  7. Then it’s a pass for you. Quit patting your self on your back, you going to hurt your shoulder with all that stretching.
  8. Deer, and plenty of other game get killed and dont get recovered till the next day and in many cases the meat it just fine. Especially in weather like we have in NY in December. Your making a big deal out of nothing.
  9. Killed a caribou in Alaska, a stones through from the Yukon boarder, my buddy did too. We were bowhunting together and I had a transporter fly us in for a dyi hunt. It was late August, waited about 5 days for the transport to get out after we had bulls down. Meat was fine. Moose bowhunt, same area. Same thing meat was fine. Packed out 7 elk so far from successful bow hunts, all temps and several days hanging and hiking. All fine Did the same with a handful of high county mule deer, packed them out as well. Coues deer in Mexico and Az…yep hot there packed them out as well. Spring bear in AK and BC…yep packed them out as well. I know I am missing some too… anyway my point is it meat, not ice cream. It isn’t going to melt. Humans have been keeping meat from spoiling in backcountry and wilds for thousands of years and we have survived and thrived.
  10. I think the RF has a terrible delivery however there is plenty of good information to be garnered. For typical whitetail hunting there is very little down side in going to a heavier arrow build all other things being equal .
  11. Agree, Yamaha are in the same league.
  12. Absolutely, all them bells and whistles on others done mean shit when it’s sitting in a shop. If it isn’t a Toyota, Honda/Lexus …I am not owning it. Same with small engines. If it not Honda or Kawasaki…I am not buying it.
  13. I am ordering a TRD Pro and hoping for an early summer delivery.
  14. Swaro EL 8x32, 10x SLC and an 65mm STX Outdoorsmen pan heads as well.
  15. I wouldn’t own anything GM ever again. Total junk. On side it was great being listed in their bankruptcy and had pleasure of recovering .045 cents per dollar they owed me. Screw them
  16. Sounds like a great little truck gun to have. I can’t imagine there are too many boxes of these floating around so many someone can use it!
  17. Westchester used to be fantastic in the late 90s early 2000s till they let you kill the shit out of them and hunters went right along with it.
