    If your looking at Razors take a look at the Zeiss conquest HD, they are about the same price. I had 12x50 razors, I also have 8x32 ( these stay in my whitetail packs) and 10x42 conquests( my truck binos) I sold my razors. I think the conquests are slightly better in low light then razors and have a more neutral color, they definitely have better contrast looking into shaded areas. In the 1k range the conquests are tops if you ask me. Also if you know where to look you can find a demo and save some cash...hint hint

    For the 4-12 or the 3-9...? I found the 3-9 for 120 however I haven't found the 4-12 that cheap. If someone does let me know I will work with them.

    Don't make it more difficult then it needs to be. Look for two or three units with OTC tags then start looking for access in each unit. when you narrow a unit down and have 4-5 places then buy a tag and get out there with boots on the ground. Don't marry anyone place. Plan on packing in and staying a couple / days ...if your into elk then stay at them. If your not pull up and move. Elk are where you find them, don't even think of waiting them out either your into them or not.
