Black bears are indigenous to the area. With proper management they should thrive and expand their range. When your taking about introducing a Nonindigenous species like the western mountain lion it's a totally different set of considerations. Think of the chaos and variables its introduces into the ecosystem. It's a ridiculous notion and as much as I am a critic of the DEC I won't go as far as them being that stupid and reckless. Hell why stop at mountain lions? Why not big African cats as well? Let's introduced several non indigenous apex predators and see what takes off...

Sorry the reviews I found suck. If it was me I wouldn't lay out that cash for hunt with poor reviews in a crumby general unit. For that matter if you have the time you can buy tags for a similar OTC hunt and go on your own. Let me preface the as being someone that typically does two the three out of state hunts yearly...for the past 15 plus year or so. I am all for winging it and enjoying the experience and I part with money a little too easy. This doesn't look like it has enough up side for me.

I deal with Sitka a lot. I almost think they charge and remit sales tax for all locations that they sell to, providing its applicable. They are a great company to work with, transparent and are 100% committed to the outdoors and conservation. While lots of companies play lip service Sitka steps up in financial support and promotion.

Honestly, I only use the sight with Tappa talk on my iPad and iPhone. Asi was never a fan of the web version anyway. So with that said I don't see any difference at this time.
