    wow. from what i have heard grouse are basically non existent here in dutchess. thats just from the research i have done. i never specifically targeted them because i really didn't think it was worth it. seems like you got a honey hole. congrats. just bought an e-caller. haven't been out yet with it, but planning on going soon for some predators.

    bisceglia- congrats been out a few times with my dog looking for pheasant, but didn't really think i would run in to any holdovers (and i didn't). kicked around for rabbits a couple times as well with no luck.

    Kudos to the guys who said good riddance. Couldn't have said it any better myself. Lot to hate about a man who was loyal to his wife and kids. Lived the american dream of coming from immigrants and working hard to become successful. We need less people like this around.

    who is the breeder from rhinebeck? i got my gsp from rhinebeck. i also have hunted at catskill pheasantry. great dogs from there. i almost picked my pup up from C.P. but the breeding was delayed. good luck!

    i know you asked for pa, but the catskill pheasantry is on the border of pa in sullivan county. I've been here 3 times and had a great experience each time. nice cabin and good people.

    Yes. huge racist. he jumps to protest any white/police violence against minorities but doesn't open his mouth when its black on black crime which is the real issue after some nights of drinking I'm sure some of the girls i been with could be classified as farm animals lol. but nah, not into livestock. but my comments weren't toward towards farm animals, i was just asking if he was racist. nothing wrong with that, is there? and nothing to be ashamed of.

    a recipe i usually do is pan fry them whole in butter/oil. once they are rare/med rare, i remove the excess grease, and pour in some good red wine. let it reduce a little then finish off with a good chunk of butter. i love it that way.

    yeah. or maybe put a kennel out there with some clothes in it for them maybe food?. you never know. good luck
