    I used to hunt before work, Id put a rain suit on over my work clothes and just take them off at the office in the parking lot. Well one time i killed a bird. About 9:30 I go to use the bathroom and as im walking out I see in the mirror that the back of my khakis looked exactly like your pants lol, the blood ran behind my rain pants and all over me. I had to tell my boss and go home and change lol

    Ive been lucky and have not encountered black flies on my bear hunts, just clouds of skeeters. My buddies bring them to St Regis Falls in June and wear them on the river and claim it works well on black flies. I dont bother because they dont seem to bother me much out in the water and Im moving a lot anyway

    My buddy was sitting in his truck in E-ville waiting to walk into the woods when a bear walked right across his headlights. He drove all the way back to North Tonawanda lol. We busted his chops for...well we still do years later! We had strangers tweeting at him "Went to the beach, saw a seagull, got the hell out of there!" " Went to the grocery store, saw a shopping cart, got the hell out of there!" and on and on for weeks lmao

    I was on a bear hunt one time and all of a sudden Im absolutely covered up in mosquitoes. I checked the Thermacell and sure enough the butane had run out. Swapped it out and in just a few minutes all was clear again

    I was busting my former bosses chops so bad because he said he saw a Baltimore oriole in his yard that I seriously thought he was going to punch me. I said it’s just an oriole ya dummy, were there any Toronto blue jays out there? Any St. Louis Cardinals? How about a Pittsburgh penguin?! Well the next day he marches in with an Audubon book and proudly proved me wrong, it’s actually a Baltimore oriole lol.
