When we shoreline hunt we wade to set the decoys and also retrieve. Its hairy, when there are waves its dicey!

I'm going to hunt a creek Wednesday morning. This weather has taken away the big waters as an option for me, I can't retrieve when the waves are 4-6' lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's bad enough the Pats are the best team in football, now the way things fell they basically get a bye into the AFC championship Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I hunt a small creek, it's slow you won't have big groups come in but a duck here, a pair there. I put a few decoys out. It's really fun in October when the woodies are around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agree with all of the post above. I hunt Ontario from a 16' aluminum boat, you just have to be smart and check your marine forecasts. If the lake is rolling, don't go out. God forbid you end up in near frozen water. If it's divers you're after you won't need a blind

That's a smoking deal on a very reliable and accurate ML!

Three hots and a cot, some peace and quiet? I think I could handle some time

Loved that thing! How about the red and white rocket that you filled with water, pumped it up and fired it? Anyone remember that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought you were setting up for divers, my bad. if you are using a line for whatever decoys youre putting out the gang rig clips make it easy. You arent pre-rigged but it takes seconds to clip em on, then at the end you take them off. Pre rigged is one of those things that sounds better than it is, theyre always a tangled mess in your bag -
I works great, just make it heavy and it will be sturdy

Are you leaving a gap on the line? We put two big GE, then leave about 12', then ten more GEs and six buffies. We use the 1/4" Tanglefree decoy line and Hard Core Gang Rig clips -
My friend made a beauty out of unistrut, it's got wheels on the front so you can tip up the back and wheel it forward and backwards from yardage mark to yardage mark. I recommend the wheels Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Which club?
-
Check, but I believe as long as you're below the high water mark you are fine. Just be sure you can retrieve

the lake was rolling, an east wind is not your friend on the Big O! Still fun though and we managed a couple goldeneye and a long tail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
