2016 Small Game Hunting Official (unofficial) Thread!

I'm picturing you and your domestic partner snuggled up with a couple of beagles watching a movie and it warms my heart! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Thought I'd start a thread for small game adventures. We had another good morning on bunnies, we ran five and killed four. Found a ton of rubs and an unrecovered six point too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That Poe play is an all time great highlight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Talib gave up on those two long plays, he's a chump. I don't think he'd have gotten to either of them but it's a bad look when you just tail off

This vaunted Denver defense is suspect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got a box of steel shot shells from Santa and a half dozen Carbon Express CXL Pro 250 fat shafts from mom. Can't wait for 3D! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I passed on a buck a couple years ago that was absolutely covered in bumps. I have it on video somewhere I'll try and find it. "The growths on these deer are cutaneous fibromas and are caused by a papilloma virus. ... Fibromas are also called warts, tumors, papillomas and fibrosarcomas, and they occur everywhere deer live. They are usually temporary on the body and can vary from 1/2 to 8 inches in diameter, or larger." It was nasty looking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Check this one out, sound and video quality are amazing. If there's one thing I hate it's when they cover up all the sounds of the hunt with crappy music Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Someone was good this year! Merry Christmas everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still voting for Paul McCartney. That song is complete garbage. Talk about mailing it in

The Pogues "Fairytale of New York" is the GOAT

Just about any version of Little Drummer Boy. The Paul McCartney one makes me want to renounce Catholicism and then drive into a bridge piling Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Despite all the fancy pants beers I drink I do still love a Bud Heavy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had another great morning in the pouring rain, killed two bunnies and found a shed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If it's staying on the feather you just need to clean the shafts a little better, you can scuff them up a little too I use a plastic scrubber. As mentioned use isopropyl alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^^ I didn't post those rub photos, I don't know why they ended up in there they aren't even mine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Absolutely! I just rabbit hunted a property and the trails, scrapes and rubs stick out like a sore thumb. Found a shed too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
I'd like to see some too, I saved a deer tail this year to make some jigs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
