I second this. If I couldn't hunt the opener I'd wait a week. Let things settle down a bit but even then it's tough sledding. The pressure doesn't let up much in NY

This may explain a A LOT; I used to keep a few lead split shot in my mouth because when nymphing you're constantly adding/subtracting to keep contact with the bottom
