Rechargeable AA Batteries
CuseHunter replied to CuseHunter's topic in Non Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
Any type of AA battery charger. I personally have a $25 4 slot charger from maximal power from amazon because I have C's and AAA batteries I need charged too. But lacrosse makes a great one for like $20 too with a few great programmed charge cycles -
Rechargeable AA Batteries

I bought the duracells that were the Sanyo 2nd gen relabeled as duracells (white tops) and they worked really well. I didn't have the best luck with some tenergy batteries, they worked but didn't impress me. I plan on trying out these newest ones this Friday when I put out my new trail cams I got. I have a feeling they will be amazing, I did a lot of research and people on candlelight forums which is a big time flashlight/battery forum they were talking about these ion core duracells being exactly rebranded Sanyo XX's and that's the only reason I bought them as the XX's are hands down the best. I'll let you know though how they actually perform in cold weather -
I ended up way over buying when purchasing some new trail cams and batteries for the old ones. Items for sale:10 (4)packs of Duracell Ion Core AA (newest brand) Price: $10each or all 10 for $90 I'm pretty firm on my price as they are $14 online. I purchased them in bulk and got them for $200 for 20 packs. Location: Syracuse I do my research before buying so I knew these are the ones I wanted. Many people in the battery world who are way smarter than me have tested them and say they are rebranded Sanyo XX's which are hands down the best batteries money can buy ~$20ea.

welcome, I'm from syracuse as well. If you end up needing help, let me know. I am one of the officers in OCC's Phi Theta Kappa chapter and there is a large amount of people looking for volunteering opportunities. -

weclome to the forums, you'll soon be applying for a second job after you get hooked -
I really like the gun. It shoots great groups with 150gr hornady ammo. About 1" at 150 yards 3 shot group. It didn't group well with 180gr fusion ammo or 180gr rem coreloks. It's light, durable, and has a smooth action. Next rifle I get though would be a tikka t3 or weatherby s2.

I just hate how TC makes a gun that is so damn hard to maintain, personally I feel bolt and firing pin maintenance is crucial to functioning in our cold temps, the factory bolts are caked with thick oils and will cause misfires in very low temps

I ended up using the BrakeKleen, the stuff is tough on the lungs so I did it outside and wore two layers of gloves. It flushed out a ton of nasty black fluid. I need to try and get in there though and lube it up with some sewing machine oil though

I have done lots of research on lights for predator hunting. I will back up shawnhu.... Bit the bullet and buy once, if you cheap-out, you will likely have to keep buying new ones. I paid like $6 for a cree Zoomable light (white emitter). I love it and use it as it really have unbelievable throw for the price. That said, I've gone through 3 of them as they love to just work one day then not work the next. I myself am trying to make a DIY Light. I want to use a cree q5 red emitter, I'm just having trouble finding a body that is Zoomable and will fit that size/shape emitter.

I saw one of these on craigslist, a person got in on a trade and ended up getting sick of it taking up space in their house, it was beautifully crafted. I should have bought it, as they only wanted like $30 for it.

This just pisses me off to be honest. I got my $4,500 Tuition Assistance from the Army reserves cut due to a lack of funding... I might as well go to jail and get my degree, that way I won't have to be in debt for an education and will be diligently studying in my cell. It is literally sickening to me.

So I have all of the guns out today and cleaning them really well. Taking apart bolts and completely field stripping all the guns to clean them. Does anyone know how to disassemble the bolt of the Venture? I'm stumped and can't find anything online. I want to get inside the carrier and firing pin to clean them good. I had a couple misfires in the season when it was near 0 degrees. I have a feeling it all gooped up in there.

Do anyone know how this affects it if you move out of state... Since it's on a license then that seems to screw it up for you if you move. Cuz I sure as hell want to get out of this dictatorship ASAP

business is business, and when it comes to firearms, my personal experience was good. I ordered from buds and had it shipped to bass pro in auburn and had no problems. This was almost two years ago and I understand things have changed. All this could be answered with a smile phone call to the company

if this is the case check out buds guns.com I've bought from them and found good deals.

Today I grabbed "The Dome" pop up blind made by True Timber. I couldn't walk away from the deal at only $29.99. I don't think it's a spacious blind whatsoever and isn't really great for bow, but for $30 it is a nice blind I plan to set up pre season and leave at a spot at my hunting camp for rifle season.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it. I've been super busy, as you can tell I haven't even posted like I used to. I'm taking 6 classes this semester and two are chemistry and microbiology courses and require a lot of my time. I'll make sure I do let you know how it shoots when I do though. I think I'll go shoot next weekend or when I have spring break in mid march.

Obama on student loans
CuseHunter replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Even though I do like the idea of student loans being forgiven, it would personally hurt. I've sacrificed so much and worked so hard throughout my college career so far to not take a loan out. But that I guess is just selfish thinking on my part. -
I ended up passing the deal, after looking around, $300 on a used marlin 336 wasn't anything to pounce on. I did end up getting a mint condition used model 70 in .300 win mag :$

Does anyone subscribe to this? They sent me a years subscription at $10 offer. The money isn't a big concern, I just don't want a junk magazine. I subscribed to F&S and found 80% of it to be advertisements and biased "research/reviews", overall I found myself to throw them away rather than even reading them. I hunt, I really have 0 interest to fish, so if it's primarily fishing then that won't interest me.

More than 50% of the people I know who use ecigs do it so they can smoke inside, and the flavors. Keep in mind most the people I know are in their 20s and that's probably why they don't use them for quitting, as other people who may be older and looking to quit is why they use them. I don't smoke nor "vape" I have no input as to the effects. I can say though some of my buddy who use them have said there are some liquids that are very high in nicotine, especially because you can buy different blends and flavors. Nicotine content can vary when you buy. Some have 16mg of nicotine
