  1. Really outside the box for me. Not bad, a little less citricy then the Blue Moon. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  2. London broil, schrooms, steamed peas, and left over tater salad. Steak was too big for the 'quarter turn'. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  3. You have quite the variety of predators there Let Em Grow. All of which love turkey eggs ( or any other egg they can get too ), and don't mind the poults as a snack either. To stop predation, you take out the predator. I know many don't like to read or hear that, but it's true in most cases.
  4. VJP, nothing has ever been done to keep criminals in prisons or county lock up. That's a fact! The reason I titled the post and posted the way I did is easy to understand, if you hat isn't lined with heavy duty tin foil. Make no mistake, I have concerns about these issues, but I also tend to look more on what's going on in my own yard, then buy into conspiracy theories. I try to keep a level head these days on such matters. I state my issue, I call out the fake martyrs who boast or post about this rally or that rally, and then nothing ever happens. People talk a tough game on here, but they all just sit on the sidelines, like me, and wait for the great organizations to save them. What a croc! Loosing respect fast for people on a hunting forum who rarely if at all ever post about anything hunting/fishing/camping/hiking related. But, carry on, you have Alex Jones and his "Male Enhancement" ads to keep you going. Have a great season fishing ( or site trolling as the people who replied like to do ) .
  5. Happy Birthday to the three of you. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  6. Here's one to put a kink in the thread. We bought a 12 pack of this stuff for the wedding. Seagram's Escapes. People drank two, brought the rest home. So just decided to try one, Calypso Colada. To be honest, it's not horrible. Big coconut flavor. Do I recommend it, only if you wear pink. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  7. I don't remember the brands of coolers we have currently right now. They aren't top of the line I know that. From many years of tent camping from over night, weekends, and week or longer trips I have learned a few things. The biggest is this, even for a weekend, have two coolers. One for food and use block ice, you're not opening and closing this cooler often. Have a second cooler for beverages, water, beer, soda, w/e, you be opening and closing this cooler often, so this is the ice melter. Just my $.02. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  8. That's all I do with trout as well. I like the skin, and when cooked on a grill or camp fire over coals the skin crisps up and takes on great flavor. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  9. BBQ chicken, grilled corn on the cob, grilled zucchini, and homemade tater salad. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  10. Just remember what Andrew Zimmern says, "If it looks good, EAT IT!" .
  11. I am just looking to locate some more fishing areas. Lawsons Lake is a no go, agea issues still, from what I have been told they actually drained it, cleaned it, and the problem persists, they don't even recommend letting your pets in or to drink the water. The Alcove Reservoir out this way has a strict NO FISHING POLICY ( almost found that out the hard way! someone from this site told me the fishing was great, I don't remember who, but that could have been an expensive joke to play on someone! ). The Hudson is a joke IMO. Just looking for places to go for black bass and pan fish I can actually bring home to eat.
  12. I did the same thing last week. We went for a few small house hold items, and I hit the fishing section. Ended up with a new tackle box, some yumyums, a few more buzz baits and spinner baits, some $2 rattle trap style lures that were on clearance, a few more rubber frogs, and three of the metal stringers I prefer. I still forgot more split shots, a new net, and a bunch of other stuff. The wife does her best to keep me away from the sporting good section at Wallyworld and even K-Mart when we get there. Even Dicks and F&S ( if i were to ever venture there again ) I can't go without her supervision. Hell, I am not allowed to just stop by the couple local gun shops out the Coxsakie way to look around. Odds are good I would get another credit card for a new rifle or shotgun. LOL!
  13. Went for an English Ale this evening. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, I read that one too. This is why I am asking people in the area with knowledge of the area.
  15. I hear it's great fishing. I just need to figure out how to get there without trespassing.
  16. Well thanks for the reply. LOL!
  17. Funny how so many people worry about what's going on thousands of miles away, and don't seem to notice what's going on in their own back yard. Again, I say, clues are free at Walmart! https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2018/06/17/suspect-killed-at-least-20-injured-in-shooting-at-new-jersey-arts-festival/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.43bee1e47810
  18. I agree with this! I was out with my bow this past Spring turkey season more then a few times. I enjoyed it, but, I learned, you will bust your ass trying to kill a bird with a bow. So, for me, I would give up the bow.
  19. I have been looking around at places to fish for bass in my area, and came across this place. $10 a year permit, I am OK with that. But....... How the hell do you access it? We took a ride over yesterday, located the reservoir, drove around for 45 minutes, but found no place to access it. I went back over today and still can't find a way to get in. It's surrounded by private land, and not even a trail to make the hike back in. Anyone know how to gain access?
  20. It's made by Mississippi Brewing Company in Utica. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  21. I will look up the brewing company again, and see if they have any distribution centers in WNY. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  22. Yep. She had one. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  23. If I remember right, it was a Siberian Brown bear, 3 years old. I think I pissed it of taking pics. It started running from one end of the cage to the other and rearing up slamming into the cage near me. I think the wife has a pic of it reared up . Will ask and if so will have her message it to me and post it. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  24. It was funny. Like tan lines on my stoop. LOL. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
