  1. Wow. I would have went nuts with all that. Holy crap. Glad you got through it. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  2. Maybe, but I would think no as a few others including myself had issues as well. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  3. Good choice. I use apple and mesquite for pork , hickory and cherry for beef. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  4. Wasn't working yesterday but working for me now. Probably an update by tapatalk. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  5. Nothing to add, best advice already given. Happy Birthday to your dad. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  6. Three top eye round roasts apx 5# each, and two pork loin at about the same. Going to try posting a pic... Forgot to mention wood chips, hickory and cherry. . Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  7. RIP Tony. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  8. I get up to hit the kitchen for a snack. Future wife's playing a game on her Kindle, dog is laying at her feet. I scruffle the dog and say "What!". She puts her head down, tail wagging ( it's a game we play ). I give her another scruffle and take a quick step back. She gets up and gives a low "woof", then tries to block me from going to the kitchen. I look down and say "Listen, I'm taller then you and can do this!", and step over her ( never did that before ). Future wife starts cracking up, I look back and our dog has this ""WTF!" look on her mug. There are so many times I wish I had video going on my dog, you just never know what a pet will do.
  9. Guessing it's by what people see in the woods and on cams in their non fenced woods. You don't see many deer like this roaming the wild woods. I see your point though.
  10. Pretty much what I was thinking as well. Just wanted to ask.
  11. If it was Biz, I would wait until he posted about playing golf, make the trek downstate, and scream "Jackass, Paco Likes Mexican beer!" at him. LMAO!
  12. I was more or less asking about actual woodlands. I was at the top of a mountain ( open space/wild grass field, maybe 3/4 of an acre ) with fields across the road, but for the most part, it's all woods. I have seen them in the woods before, like you mentioned, where it was more of an AG area, with fields bordering the the woods in all directions.
  13. 5 AM SHARP! To be honest, I did think about inviting a couple people from this site. But, a meet and greet wouldn't be a good idea for a wedding. LOL.
  14. I think it was me with the pepper on the sausage patty. Just adds a better dimension of flavor then slicing it and steaming it on the grill. That burger looks good.
  15. Things are working out. Thank you all for kind words. crappyice - I have been trying hard the last couple years to try and be nicer around here. Not bringing up old dirt to start a new garden. LOL
  16. I've eaten it a few times, it can be tough, but doesn't taste that bad. Anyone ever have any luck hunting chucks in wooded areas? Been out hiking a local hunting spot a couple times over the past week and seen them where they shouldn't be. No, I never bothered to take a pic.
  17. Um, yeah, so.....I guess Tapatalk didn't agree with my pic? Try again, Wedding beers ( and some girly stuff for the girls of course ).
  18. Hope you get the draw! Great eating meat.
  19. Got beer! Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  20. Um..... No..... Not that I won't let her, she just has serious issues with a few on here. Just made her a drink to help. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  21. Not beer. Baileys over ice. Hoping this calms the fiancee nerves a bit. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  22. I'm rolling with it, I'm used to this crap happening. I have an anti hunting Jeep! Just wish I knew how to console the future Mrs. . Yeah, it's sappy, but seeing her hurting is hard. Grampy, I honestly appreciate the offer, but towing from here won't work out cost wise. Keeping the van longer isn't going to work, at a price hike because it's Americade weekend. Trust me, all the rental places jacked up the per day cost. We looked at all of them. $300 to rent with unlimited miles from Friday to Sunday.
  23. Ummm good.... Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  24. Wedding this weekend, honey moon next week. Last night on her way home from work the fiancées water pump blows. $200 to tow to local shop, they can't do the repair. Find another local shop that can do the repair, and rough estimate is $1000, plus towing from one place to another. Looks like we will be going on our honeymoon a year late. Fiancée is on the phone as I type this canceling our hotel reservation in Mystic. CN. They won't give a refund due to the ten day rule. Fiancée is not handling this well. Rented a mini van to get everything to the wedding, wish I trusted my Jeep to make the trek. Really sick of bad luck. Just venting a bit, but damn 2018 has sucked so far.
  25. Saw this and decided WTH, why not try it. Busch Ice. Nasty! Couldn't drink it. Went down the sink drain. Have a better option for round 2 later. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
