Flippin' frogs is fun. Poppers are a little more my thing over frogs, though. Tossin a big floaty worm/slug bait and twitching it on the surface is a lot of fun too. But I just love a buzzer over all of them. Splish, splish, splish, splish, "SPLASH"!

Then: House- $30,000 for a nice place with a bit of land. Now: House- $500,000 for a fixer upper with a 20x40' backyard. Then: "I ain't doin my chores, I wanna go hang out with my friends." - X<SMACK>X Now: What chores? Then: $.68 per gallon for gas. Now: $10.98 per gallon for gas. Then: $.14 per pound for ground beef. Now: $6.99 per pound for ground beef. Then: $5.99 for 20 rounds of 30/06 ammo. Now: $59.99 for 20 rounds of 30/06 ammo. Then: "Hey Bubba, I forgot to get the wife a birthday present. Wanna but my 12ga for $50?". "Sure. I'll meet ya up the SudznBoobs after work.". Now: "Hey Bubba, need to sell my shotgun for $800 ya interested?". "Sure, but I can only give ya $650 'cause I gotta pay them transer fees.". "Well, OK, I'll meet ya at the gun shop, and I sure hope you don't get a delay 'cause I need to fix the brain on my truck pretty darn soon.". Then: "Hey Jonny, wanna go fishn'?". "You bet your britches I do! I'll meet ya at the lake with a 6er and some bait!". Now: "Hey Jon, ya wanna go fishin'?". "Na, I gotta get on them social media forums and post pictures of my dingleberry flavored beer.".

That is exactly why they are my favorite lure! It gets the heart beating and for me there's no other feeling like it in the fishing world.

The prices are going up, and will go up more. It's not just the shops, though, the manufacturers see the opportunity too. Look at the Ruger and M&P's, 5 years ago they were both in the $500-600 range, not $900-1200. Ruger jacked the price up 3 times in a year for 2021. Ammo will probably go up too. I already noticed some online retailers jacking up prices. I wanted some Hornady Black 75grain. $30+ to order, brick and mortar shop had one box left at $22, so I snatched it up. The Nosler I bought a couple of weeks back for $25 are now $30.

I generally vary the speed. Usually from a quick to medium and slower as I get the bait closer to me. Fishing from shore means a lot more fan casting, at least that's what I tend to do.

My only problem with the newer Wallyworld specials is the skirts. They seem to rip apart and degrade pretty fast. I've bent more pricey baits and had to straighten them, so that's no big deal.

Hmm... I might be a fool, but at least I'll stand by my convictions. Oh, I have a clue, and you're right, you won't be one of those hauled off, because you just showed your hand. You will hide things, so you won't have to stand up for anything, which to me is kneeling before the oppressors, just in a different way. I'm not laughing either, not one bit. I don't find anything amusing about anything you post, and now I certainly wouldn't find your hypocrisy funny.

I started using them after seeing Hank Parker land some great largemouth, so I knew what they were and how to use them before buying any. Even the good ones used to only be like $2. White and black have always worked well for me around weeds. White and chartreuse in more open water. I used to switch out jig skirts to have a few more options. The sparkly colors worked pretty good on over cast days.

New shirt the wife bought me.

I prefer Strike Kings. I've used a few other brands, and even caught fish off those no name Walmart specials for $1. I also prefer a two blade over three, but those threes seem to irritate other fish besides bass.

You’ll have three choices: Comply and hand over the arsenal. Not hand anything over and probably go to prison on felony charges. Fight it out. From what you post around here, yes, you have alluded here that you'd go to war with the government before you'd comply. Or were you just typing and not actually going to stand up against tyranny?

It took me some time to really think this one through. He made some Democraps hop ship and join the Red Side. -
I missed a few good fish on my last trip up north, so it got me considering going back to using the trailer. The northern I had spit the lure sort of put a twist in my knickers, so it's time to look into some alternate methods.

With the upcoming bass season approaching fast, I got to thinking about one of my favorite lures, the buzz bait. I think I might be adding trailer hooks to a few. Anyone else use a trailer hook on lures like spinners and buzzers?

I'd be up for a Spring bear season in April. Even May, but I doubt they'd allow the season in May, to many turkey hunters would be toting a 300WIN. Mag..

He's admitted he's a troll and just post things to get a reaction. It doesn't matter if any of it's facts, as long as he gets attention. Go forth and fish, the water is calling! Time far better spent. If I was closer, I ask you to stop by and pick me up, I haven't landed a decent fish yet this year.

Great looking pup and congrats on the new addition to the family.

Oh, she's probably added a couple thousand. As I've said, in the three shops I was at between Friday and Sunday, there were at least 20 people buying. Just in those three places, and just while I was there. The same guy owns all three places, so I'm sure he's not happy with the laws, but enjoying those bank deposits. A lot of people bought modern sporting rifles while the full on panic was on, and now this nonsense. Many guys and gals just aren't open about publicly telling the world they bought them there scary black guns. I still have to call the indoor range we go to and see how that's going to end up working out. We don't rent any firearms, but how they plan to sort out the useage and license issue just to use the place.
