They are pics of fish and nature, still great IMO.

2 DMP's, either/or tag, and buck tag hoping for at least 2. Goal is to get a doe early, try for a good buck for a few weeks, then what ever deer walks in front of me.
-
Nice pics. Sounds like a fine day out with a buddy catching fish and enjoying the outdoors.

Bow just got here. It's lighter then I expected and pretty short axle-to-axle. Feels pretty comfortable. Have to get it in ASAP to get tuned up and set for me. Can't thank Jeremy enough for this.
-
Well they say they got it cleared up. No water as of now in the tub drain. But, have you ever just had that 'feeling' that it's still not right? We'll see what happens when I throw a load of laundry in shortly, do up the morning dishes, take a shower, and the at some point have to flush the toilet. LOL

Hows this for an idea. During the "Regular Season" you can use a compound, trad bow, crossbow, ML, rifle and shotgun. Maybe the gun hunters should start protesting that seeing there's and early and late bow and ML season, that you can't use a a bow or ML in the "gun" season.
-
Why can't everyone just agree to disagree? Bow hunters want it all and they seem to get it most times, I mean no offense, as I love bow hunting. You wanted a longer season, you got it, and still complain, now, it's too long. You wanted the antler restriction revoked and it was. WTF? There's no making you happy! Seriously, there isn't. I enjoy deer hunting. Be it archery, slugs, or a rifle. I have 4 tags for this season. I will be happy to fill even one of them. Much less 4. All this dissension does is leave a huge gash in a hunting community that needs to start standing together. If you don't want to shoot does, then don't. But, don't blame it on DEC because they gave you a way to protest and feel validated. You paid for your tags, shoot what you want to shoot. Just stop thinking everyone has to agree with you.

I have no idea, but they better fix it quick, guy just bought the trailer over there and plans to move in this weekend. LOL

We will be going to the Catskills, Shauls, for Labor Day weekend. It was supposed to be the 4th of July, but...... We have a huge tent too, and we don't share it. I have another tent for guests. I like my space in a tent. Plus, the farther my socks are from people after a day of hiking, or w/e, even just walking around camp cutting wood and cooking the better for everyone. Hope you have a blast Zem, and hope you are having a great time as well TC.

Either way you go, another food plot or just let the grass grow it's a great view the small tree line looks like a prime spot for deer to use as cover to go back and forth.
-
They used a power snake. The line runs from the first trailer to the last in our row. The block is somewhere between us and the next trailer two lots over. Can't build or put anything on the lot between due to a gas line that runs through.
-
Ha! They got here at he same time the people did to deliver the new dryer. I knew that would happen. It's a main clog and they used a snake for about 40 minutes. It's not as bad as it was but, the snake didn't help much. They are coming back with a pressure clog hog in the morning.

That's what I'm thinking too.

Will let you know. Leaning towards Stratton's, but if I locate something closer it would be nice.
-
We noticed that water was sitting in the bathtub drain. Now, when we flush the toilet, water shoots out of the bathtub drain. Anyone know what would cause that? Called the owner, he said a guy would be here early this morning, but no one has showed up yet.

I know. One can never have to many arrows, or bullets, IMO.

I have no pics yet to post in this thread, gimme a week or so. My first boo-boo with shooting a bow ( 20+ years ago ) was after three weeks of getting groups that touched with field points, swapping out the points with broad-heads and trying to keep that group. I could see my grouping was still on par. But, after walking to my target I realized I had cut the fletching on one side or another off all 6 arrows. It sucked! I had to take the arrows in and have them re-fletched. I never did that again. 1 bladed head to one spot on the target.

I agree, to many people put the horse before the carriage. I understand chefs point of view, but to many people are telling him to get aggressive when he hasn't even talked to the other land owner yet. I mean no disrespect, but if you get your thong all twisted before you even get to beach you will have issues. My opinion is the neighbor had prior permission to hunt the land chef is buying. If you are going to poach, or trespass, you aren't going to build an elaborate stand like the one mentioned. You might use a climber or sit on the ground, but build a box blind......Nope. Keep a level head about it is all I am saying.

Steaks on the grill, pasta salad, and asparagus.
-
No worries. Appreciate that.

That would be Spanky of course. Sorry to post a not related thread. The new place we have a few corn fields about three miles down the road. They were looking pretty shabby looking until we had a good rain this past week. Not they are sprouting and baby corns on the stalks. The dry weather is not helping plots or farmers.

Buckwheat was my second favorite character from The Little Rascals.

Not an option either to butcher in the house. I had thought about that. All I can say about that is my g/f had an issue with her x-husband doing that in the house. Ticking off the neighbors isn't something I want to do, but, pi$$ing off the g/f would be far, far worse. LOL I don't mind using a processor if the price is right and they are reputable.

Have you spoken with him/them yet? Dropped a note with your name and number on it? Like some have said, he may have had permission from the previous owner. Maybe a polite conversation and he will take the stand down with no fuss. When it comes to having disputes with neighbors it's better to know where you both stand ( no pun intended ) on an issue before going bonkers and making a brash judgment without knowing much. JMO.
