  1. Not sure if there's a sentimental value there, if not, it might be cheaper to just buy a new one then repairing. https://www.amazon.com/Ontario-Force-Survival-Knife-Black/dp/B001CZDQPI A word on why I didn't really want to go with the Ka-Bar USMC. The big thing is they aren't 100% full tang, they have a taper inside the handle, I think they call it a rat tail tang/rat tang or something like that. I just wanted 100% full tang. Speaking of wives reaction to knives, I would rather my wife reacted like airdales wife instead of just being like "It's a knife.". :|
  2. AWESOME and congratulations to your stepson and the parents who brought him up to be selfless and get it done protecting the USA and our allies!
  3. I would say I'll pass. Please take this in the context it's meant to be, I don't care much for bars anymore, I'm not 20/30 something, hard partying isn't in my wheelhouse anymore. I was just talking to my wife a few weeks ago about trying to get something going this Summer. Something Outdoors.
  4. That's insane! Last time I seen anything like that was back around '00 in the Green Mtns. of VT. Buddy and I went up for a snowboarding/ski trip to Mt. Snow. They got dumped on! If I remember it was like 4-5 feet of snow over three days. Some of the houses closer to the road looked like that, the ones further back from the road, you couldn't see.
  5. Do what you need to do bro! No need to explain anything on here, just take care of you. Go clear the fog and come back when you feel like it.
  6. Very sorry for your loss Dom, my condolences to you and your family.
  7. Boom son! That was fast, no express shipping and here in a few days. Nice n' hefty. No rattling from the sheath. Sharp as a razor. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  8. I had read the post, once, but the next day I was thinking about airedale's wife's comment. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
  9. I was joking about the charcoal lighter fluid. Dryer lint works awesome! Been using it for years! Use that and dip in some melted wax, just as good as the wax/cotton ball, and cheaper as most of us already have candles around the house. My first aid kit has small bottles of isopropyl alchohal and peroxide.
  10. I hear that about this time of year. But, perfect time to make a few clips and work on editing, maybe make an intro clip. If you want some decent royalty free music check out BensSound, you just have to add in your description where the music is from.
  11. Not a huge fan of October Fest brews. But this is great! Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  12. MIL and FIL were over for dinner. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  13. Who is Doug? Not trying to be a smart ass, just don't know who that is.
  14. That's funny, but at the same time wrong in so many ways! LOL!
  15. Having a couple knives to get things done in a survival situation where in all reality, unless you have a compound with a fence, you will be on the move more then you would be idle. So, a knife that would be able to split wood could be more of a necessity then a hatchet when it comes to the weight of your pack. You can't really gut game or clean a fish with a hatchet, at least I cant. Just my take on that one. I just want to get back into challenging myself and not always use a matches, newspaper, and three gallons of charcoal lighter fluid for making fires. It really is a very personal choice, I agree with that 100%. Was my choice the best for an EDC knife? NOPE! But for what want this knife for it will be just fine.
  16. Pulled pork tacos in a crunchy shell! I make tacos out of just about everything. LOL.
  17. This is pretty good! Not as good as VooDoo Ranger though. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  18. This came out awesome. Spicy red sauce from scratch, spheghetti squash, and shrimp. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  19. Just grabbed these. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  20. There's even a solid users guide. https://www.openshot.org/
  21. Fox came out great. That whole area looks great!
  22. May I ask what software you are using to edit? I use a free one and it's pretty easy and a lot of features for being free. Let me know if you want to look at it and I'll post a link.
  23. I put the order in Amazon. It actually rang up at $42.68 due to a promo code I had, and free shipping. So I saved about $40.
