We pulled 17, 6 and 27 I believe. I saw lots of ducks on West River today so planning on 17. Lots of blues starting to show

Appreciate it, I took the class last year so I could go to the beaver island draws too. I went tonight and got what I think should be a decent blind for the morning. Good luck if you head out this weekend. Thanks again!

I've never hunted the swamps for ducks and looking at the weather tomorrow don't want to take boat out anywhere. Does anyone know how the draw for blinds works? Where does it take place, time etc. Any helps appreciated!

Very very likely that the shot was intended to be a head shot. Maybe not but the post still applies. Nobody here knows what happened, including myself. But still my point is make smart choices because this is what can happen. I've also seen ears and noses "brushed"

Unfortunately not the first time I've seen head shot go wrong which is why I would believe it was an attempted head shot. Saw 2 similar situations in Darien few years back.

Today my uncle shot a buck at our camp that had it's lower jaw blown off, I won't go into details very graphic. I know some people will say but head shots quick clean kill "no mess for dressing"!! Ok. But if you aren't going to hit your spot do the animal a favor and shoot for the boiler room!! Just blowing off steam here
