  1. It's my baby so I'm definitely not ready to move it yet but I will let you know if I do wny, no prob.
  2. I'll try to post up some pics of the current truck for ya guys in a few
  3. Thanks for the info wny my daily towing is about 8-10k with occasionally towing heavier loads. I'm sure a 5.7 could handle it I'm just looking at options. And milage would suck to change because I get about 19 all around with mine now. It's actually a very very clean truck it's a extended cab long bed 4x4 with some goodies.
  4. Ok guys I currently have a 24 valve in my 99 2500. Runs like a beast and I love the truck. Tranny was done two years ago but is letting go again. I have a decision to make I either throw a stock rebuild in it and sell it or I keep it do a full blown (the right way) rebuild so I can keep power in it and not worry about it. If I get rid of it I want a newer truck so that rules out a diesel for me. I can't afford it right now. I tow alot like 5 days a week and am looking for some input.
  5. Nice thanks guys. I never really looked into scoring just starting to now so I really don't understand it yet.
  6. They're on bowen, I actually have limited access on a parcel down the road and the my dad's buddy shot a monster when I was there two seasons ago
  7. My 8 year old cousin shows huge interest in deer hunting and is always asking me questions. I went to dinner last night and he asked me a very straight forward question. What do you believe the biggest deer in NY to be? Obviously this goes tons of ways but do you think it's reasonable to say there's 200 inch free range bucks in any area?? I told him the biggest ones are the ones we see in his parents yard in Lancaster lol.
  8. Good luck guys hope to see some pics!
  9. I see a ratio of like 7 to 1 buck to doe all season lol
  10. Agreed one of those duck calls catches my eye as well.
  11. Once for me first deer I ever shot with a gun! Three in slug lol
  12. I'm with ya I love my bikes but always like having a quad as well. Yfz is Def on the list of possibilities they definitely are a solid quad. We have a track on one side of the road and ride the woods alot so I like options lol
  13. Thanks silent death I also felt the 660 was tippy
  14. It's always breeding season in my parts
  15. I know a few of you guys are like me and enjoy riding, I got out of sport quads to save for a house about a year ago and sold off my baby along with both my bikes. Just keeping the 4x4 quad. Now I have a chance to drop a little bit of cash on another toy and am wondering. Anyone drive a 700r? I've driven plenty of quads lots of 400s 450s etc, only raptor I've.been on was a 660. Any first hand experience? Thanks in advance!
  16. I've been working 12 hour shifts four on three off with some ot mixed in. I'll cut back on ot next week and hunt my three days a week, and also am scheduled to have an additional three for rifle opener.
  17. Laying on the couch sick for the first time in years. Regardless I plan to.be dropping a buck off at the taxidermist tomorrow.
  18. Born in 94 so I'm sure I am! But I work a normal week of 50-60 hours!
  19. I hunted Saturday and Sunday mornings this past weekend and saw 8 different bucks on their feet during shooting light. Wednesday the high is 45 and low down to 33, hope this will make some bigger bucks start to cruise.
  20. Had 10 or more behind me just couldn't get a clean shot at any if them.
  21. Freezing balls off, need to take a dump, about to walk to cabin and another spike comes in. Typical
