  1. I still have it...was upstairs thankfully. PM on way.
  2. Not only that Ants, but he has a son who was with him in Italy and a less than 1 year old daughter. She'll never really get to know he pops other than in film.
  3. This is a cam I had lying around (yes, I do have cams "lying" around) that I hadn't got to using yet. For the record, my house flooded last wee as many know, but this cam was NOT even at the house at the time so it is new and in the box. Moving the cam as I obviously have home needs at the moment. Will offer this up for $185 plus a few dollars shipping - Paypal gift to save on fees or add the fees. This cam is the cell-phone cam that will send you pics to your phone via SIM card/go phone plan.
  4. Or a high quality mobile set like LW. Pair that with an Alpha and the combo weigh less than most all climbers and isn't limited to a tree type. I most often use my LW stuff when I go out of state as I don't know the ground as well and will scout and hunt with a stand on my back. Otherwise, I generally use ladders and then hang-ons with the stick ladders or rapid rails and leave them be.
  5. Looks like a swollen eye or something. That plot is lush!
  6. No problem...Lowes and Home Depot will both do it as Walmart does. Only thing I noticed was that Wal-mart seems to have slightly better variety selection. Lowe's has better trees than home Depot though...and more consistent than Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart will be all over the map on selections and varieties, but sometimes they have some great options. Like this year, my Wal-Mart had Mutsu Crispin...$22 a tree normal price. Not exactly a common variety outside of apple nurseries.
  7. While working on the house yesterday, I noticed my crabapple is LOADED. Never seen it so fruit-heavy. Heard the same thing from some apple farmers in Wayne Co. Looks like a good start.
  8. Yeah...I certainly got the worst of it, although I wasn't the only home impacted.
  9. I don't think that is the Primos DLC. Pretty sure there is no such thing. I believe you are talking about DPS. DLC is the company that owns Covert.
  10. I suspect that chair was ground level when attached.
  11. It is a neat setup, but peopel are slow to adapt to battery use. The other thing is some states do not allow it in MZ season. NY does, but I know some don't.

    early bow?

If you don't have tags to burn for the NZ opener...then it's a good thing imo. Ha.

    early bow?

    Special people, those islanders....

    early bow?

    Only if you hunt NZ....
  15. DECALS has more holes than swiss cheese. It's a horrible system that the DEC got married to because they sunk so much money into the third-party development of said system.
  16. I am confused, is the A-5 a Covert cam? Never heard of Primos DLC. Covert does indeed make a good cam.
  17. Adjust came this a.m. Figured 45k ballpark. I'm going to get 5k max. My guns were upstairs, and one back up bow. My primary hunting bow was found on the other side of the house from where it was kept. My mounts are starting to slip hair as they soaked up moisture. All that stuff is minor though compared to the actual house damage. Been tearing down everything to the stud to air out...and I mean everything. The water came in so fast it knocked down some paneling on the walls and opend doors that were shut.
  18. Thanks all. Law ill reach out to you tomorrow. Been ripping everything out today. Had to miss fathers day brunch with my 4 mos old girl. Tough pill to swallow.
  19. Oh, I'm taking a good bath on this one. Looks like insurance is going to cap me out at $5k for sump pump failure and that's about it. I've thrown out about $15k in material items thus far. That's not including the two bedrooms and bathroom that JUST had complete remodels down to the studs.
  20. I practically did. My split level took on 5-6 ft of water in the first level Thursday in the rains. My road had a flash flood and my TWO sump pumps had no chance. 6 feet of water in two hours. I got home from work, knew there was trouble as everyone was on the street instead of in their houses. Had about a foot in my front yard about two hours after the flash flood, still. Opened the door - first thing I saw? My washer touching the ceiling. It's not been a fun 60 hours or so.
  21. Yeah, I just bought a new slug gun last season. That'll kind of stink because it'll be parked permanently or I'll have to take a bath on it because it won't have value in rifle counties.
  22. Same thing with me. Same experience with the scope. I just don't get to there much often any longer as I don't work in the local area now.
