Depends on the zone/WMU/programs.

Be careful with these...all about timing. Options ends up being where that big money usually is, but kudos to you all for hopping on that train again....

I'll probably move the computer up here but I am really going to try to move away from screenshare and more toward an actual show style format once this is done.

Progress appears slow but going through a lot of measure twice cut once. Had to chase down an electrical gremlin. The garage lights could be killed off by FOUR switches and we had to figure that one out. But...steps are made, some framing done for the ceiling, and etched a section of the galvanized roofing and lower wainscoting. Disconnected the hot and cold water taps in the room to move them closer to the back slider. My wife would NOT give them up as she uses them once a year on the back patio for cleaning. Arghhh. The recessed TV mount is also in.

New farmer for our property

Sounds great for the time outside of the seasons. Depending on what is in the hay mix, but in large I've not seen hay fields be big draws in season unless there is little other ag in the area. You'll get some interest with fresh new growth at each cutting but I think it drops when they can go get carbs, sugars, etc. loaded in other crops, like corn, clover, brassicas, etc. It's not a total downfall, but personally, I'd rather take beans (left standing or with a cover crop), corn, clover, etc. in season. That said, it really does matter what is in the hay mix IMO in terms of preference. -
HBD!!!

Broadcasting corn & beans

I think alot of brassicas that don't get hit can also be factored in by how early they were planted - I've become more of a fan of planting them later than we historically did by about 2-3 weeks. Seems to have had better results - less tonnage obviously but more preferred. Agreed on the heavy ag...it seems to dampen their preference a bit. -
They do drink "dirty" water is the best way I would phrase it lol.

One of the things you may want to consider is taking advantage of rain to re-fill. That size can surprisingly get emptied quick in summer heat and sun. We put in a french drain type set-up. Dig out a slight decline laying down heavy gauge plastic and then cover it with creek stone or larger crushed stone. the rainwater will collect in those drains over several feet and pour into the pond liner.

The oldest and the middle pup - which is always the “special” one isn’t it, in trios? Fits the Bill.

Some of gadgets and gear arriving. TV and Mini Split AC arriving tomorrow. Need to order some other minor things like another few Full Range mounts, a door knob to match the smart deadbolt, and outlet covers. Desk is going to be custom built and narrow to limit filling up space across the 8’ span. I’ll end up wall mounting my computer monitor to help keep things slim. Planned on a regular good couch to view TV but that escalated quickly to a home theater couch with usb charging and lights and what not. That will take as much at 18 weeks to arrive, which seems crazy but is what it is in these times. A few bigger ticket items left to solve for are a soundbar and woofer combo. I don’t want remote speakers besides the woofer and I’m not finding a clear winner to match my LG OLED. Also still trying to educate myself on the new connection options with ARC and eARC, and how that all plays into the experience. Not as simple as the old audio/video options we had even as recent as 5-10 years ago.

Due to the lack of reasonable sourcing, I ended up going with a Weatherby Vanguard .243 for now, keeping my CVA Scout in .243 as my lightweight option. I'll likely still be on the lookout for a Kimber but it'll be after this coming season. No way I could talk the wife into another piece LOL. Supply and demand be what it is. I'm not a fan of picking something up just prior to the season and I'm unable to get to the range but maybe a handful (3-5) of times each summer, so I wanted all summer to get to know my dance partner.

Yeah, Arcade1up or something I think it is called. Pretty neat actually.

Desk has been a pain point. With all of the doors - it's just "in the way" so much in any configuration. May end up fabricating a ladder style desk to fit, and just wall mount the monitors. Definitely wood theme as this will be a gray barnwood with galvanized ceiling and lower wainscot.

I came close to buying buckhunter in the standup arcade box. I just wouldn't use it enough, ha.

I'm presently going through a room renovation - going to be part office, part TV/Theater, part man cave. It's a room connecting the house and the garage. Used to be open but prior owner connected the two and made it a breezeway room with deep sink, and exercise space. High ceiling at peak, but long and narrow. 8x20. Doors on ALL FOUR WALLS. Engineering marvel, clearly. We took $500 at the pandemic start and turned it into an office space/back up TV room, with paint, some trim, and vinyl plank laminate flooring. Now, it's getting overkill treatment. One long wall is the garage-side wall and pretty open. I have 220 on the back in the garage and also a subpanel, so I can get pretty crazy with any "upgrades" I want to run. I am going all in on Apple Homekit and will convert the house over time, but using this room to start with homepod mini, lutron switches, compliant devices, and what not. What else would you toss in the room - hunting, technology, etc.? Thought about a beverage cooler built in, but I can't find one that I like that will fit in between the stud spacing. Have a nice TV en route with a recessed wall mount.

Go figure - I'm WFH and on a meeting, when my wife (who runs a daycare at our place) said I needed to go get our daughter from school. Turns out, she was overheating on the bus before it left to come home. Had to wear a mask, couldn't drink her water on the bus, etc. They brought her inside the AC office, and she started feeling better immediately. She said she was getting hot from the mask and sitting on the bus waiting for the kids to board.

HBD!

I went into BB to look at TVs. Majority of customers with masks, but the dept manager in the TV section was maskless, so, off went my mask. I looked around and paid attention - it was more like 50-50 masks overall. It felt like liberation - a bra burning party type of liberation LOL. Dude got me for $1,700. LG OLED for the win.

We are crazy conservative...14 years now at this place and when I started we couldn't have facial hair and earrings (men). We've come far (comparatively) but still lag behind in many employee engagement components. I get looks wearing sneakers on a jeans day....I'm just at the point where I respond with business results = flexibility for me and my teams. Period. It annoys people and I am sure will cost me upward movement, but whatever. My people enjoy their kicks and showing them off at work. Everyone else rocking "business casual" loafers and junk. But, we're also like Karl Malone...the mail always gets delivered!

In office work still required here for me...they say its while they figure out a solution.
