  1. Did this age well? LOL. Anyhow, I'm not one for herbal remedies much, but figured I'd inquire with respect to some of the ailments I have with my back surgeries and growing shoulder issues. I researched best I could and came up with a reputable brand as I can tell it, and am a few days into taking CBD (no THC) tincture. I'm sure it's no magic pill, but....I've not lived a pain free day since I was 28 after my first disc rupture and surgery. I'd say the last 24 hours would be some of the lowest pain I've had over that timeframe. Could totally be a coincidence, but definitely better than my "normal" by a big margin. I'm cautiously optimistic here.
  2. It's been a tough month for me. I'm not moving much right now, just kind of sitting.
  3. Yeah it's a gamble. Hard to buy and sketchy. People have made some money on it thought getting in early. Got to avoid those red flags. Doge while not to that level is more about understanding fundamentals against human emotion.
  4. My wife runs a home daycare. The first two winters were atrocious. I was good for one "cold/flu" a winter/spring previously, and then I was getting sick 3-4 times those first few years. Now a few years into it, nada.
  5. Once we reach beer pong with dirty cups, then we'll have fully returned.
  6. No idea on that stuff; but I just don't see people going back. Belief system aside, societal transformation events usually result in things going by the wayside and never returning. 9/11 being an easy example with impact on air travel. Pre-9/11, no locks on cockpits, kids could go and sit in the chairs and get pics with captains/wings, transiting security was minimal, meeting your family or friend at the gate, etc. A pair of nail clippers wouldn't result in you being looked at as a potential terrorist. Generally people held a much more positive view of flying pre-9/11. One major event and a schism happened forever, afterwards. That's not caused by governmental regulation either, that was society changing. It's going to happen with this, too, and on a much wider cultural scale. I think masks stay in some facet, forever. Just my take. We're laying groundwork for a return to office for our employees, for September. It is going to be ALOT of work to find a new normal. This was a collective snow globe shake-up.
  7. I force myself to think positive, but I think we'll be much more culturally aligned with certain Asian communities that wear masks often. Will handshakes ever be as prevalent?
  8. I do question the lack of clarity around goal rallying to get mask mandates or similar bureaucracy to end. Writing on the wall with travel already starting - want to go to Europe? Show proof of vaccination. They'd be better off setting clear targets with requisite winding down. I don't see daily vaccination rates being this high again, ever, short of some breakthrough issue or kids being given the green light. I also don't see the old way of life ever coming back for some components - right or wrong this has been a culture altering event in our lives. But you know what? I'm going to shoot a dang turkey Saturday.
  9. Headache subsided around 5:30. Hit couch and was OUT until 1:30AM. Really fatigued. Back to bed, and up at 7 - feeling much better and fine by Noon day after. But wow, was I tired.
  10. Tapping out. Meetings cleared and the couch is going to be my new home. Same crap as before headache and neck ache.

    Chlorine

The large majority of chlorine used by municipalities is in wastewater and drinking water processes. No idea about snickers bars in the pool.

    Chlorine

Let's just say there is a bit of marketing going on there. JCI is here in town - they make much of the chlorine produced in this part of the country - and they have easy capabilities to add shifts to meet demand. Right now, they're running about 120% of normal pre-pandemic output but can easily do 200% with the second shift added. The driver is that municipalities bought up stockpiles for potential use in case of a shortage. It's not a shortage situation though - output is still happening. JCI supplies everything from NYC to cities in Ohio... It's a small town. This is common knowledge in town.
  13. Shipping is insane right now. My shipping costs are up around 20% since the start of the year.
  14. Shot 2 was at 11. Planned to work through the PM but clearing out meetings now. Headache coming on fierce already....same thing as shot 1. Within the hour. I feel fine otherwise. But it's a hangover/jackhammer type headache. Ugh.
  15. I bet Joe Coombs forms will end up being your favorite when the season is over! Ha. I do want to do another Revolution form at some point. The curious alert I have is a really nice pose.
  16. I could never get used to Mathews. Not sure why. But people love them and they make good bows. I prefer a single stack vertical pin for hunting as I believe it allows for quicker target acquisition and arrow release for me. I've been using a Trophy Ridge V3 on my Synergy for a while now. I don't think the second and third pins are as accurate as shooting a traditional horizontal pin (speaking minutia here) due to the pin covering the target spot but in a hunting world, it works fine. That top pin on a single stack, which makes up 80% of my shots...whoooooo boy. She's deadly. Enjoy that new bow! It's a fine one. You may need to new sight tape given the changes.
  17. It's mostly analytics now, but I'm sure there is protectional language and steps for stupid people.
  18. I just did my Carvana for my 4runner...the offer was more than I paid for the vehicle new. Had it since 9/2019 LOL. Stupid.
  19. Hopefully in the rearview now. Mine is tomorrow. How long before the crapshow kicked in? 5 hours? Looks like it's a 24 hour thing for ppl who are impacted.
  20. Suggested things to check out here.... The 170"+ beast Jason just finished mounting, the turkey woods thread, etc.
  21. I feel like I'm going to be reminded of this for years to come LOL!
