My grandson could probably use them even if it's only when we are cutting fire wood.

I've got 6 growing and just planted 3 more out of a batch of 15 I got. Have 50 more still chilling in the fridge. -
Free Treestand Safety Harnesses
surmn8er replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
Hopefully the lack of interest for these means everyone is hunting safely. -
I have a few of them. The last one I got as a gift and it lasted a year and then died. Two other ones eat batteries like crazy. I will not use the Wildgame cameras anymore. Just not dependable enough.

Free Treestand Safety Harnesses

I have several harnesses available to anyone who might need them. I am located in western NY. -
Specialty Archery makes peep sights with verifiers in them with different magnifications depending on how much you need.

I just bought 4 Kieffer Pear trees last night at Lowes. They are also about 8' high without the pot and well branched. Don't know what rootstock but they are standard size trees.

Middletown home depot Apple trees

Yea they gotta be fenced. I use remesh and also wrap the trunk with aluminum window screen to keep the mice and rabbits at bay. -

Same at the Williamsville store. I bought 6. Don't know the root stock but for $15 each you can't go wrong. They also had Pink Lady and Wolf River. -
Thanks Phade, I'll give it a try then. Rural King here I come.

I know there are brand name products out there that contain Clethodim but companies will not ship them to NY due to government restrictions. It will be used in clover and brassica plots, some established and some new. The established clover plot has some serious grass problems despite mowing.
-
Thanks for the reply. Is there anything readily available in NY to combat grass in food plots?
-
Does anyone know if I can buy Clethodim in Pennsylvania at a Tractor Supply or similar store?
-
I have worn Sorel boots for years. The original ones were made in Canada and were very well made and really warm. Now, like almost everything else, they are made in China. I would not buy the new ones but luckily I still have several pair of old ones that I still use for cold weather sits.

Yea the chain sucks but ratchet straps are pretty cheap and I put an extra one on every stand anyway.
-
You also get a life line with each one

Just checked Cabelas and they have Millennium M25's on sale for &59.99 right now. These are the most comfortable hang on stands I have ever used. They're heavy and a PITA to hang but once up they are great. They also each come with a free HSS harness. Can't go wrong!

The Swede and Kale both say 150 - 180 days to maturity so that would put them into Oct./ Nov. at maturity. The deer already love the other brassicas( turnips, radishes and rape) so was looking to plant a spring crop to keep weed growth down and also not have to reseed in late summer.
