Has anyone here planted Swede or Kale in the spring/early summer? With the length of time it takes to reach maturity it should fall at just the right time. Just wondering how it may have worked out for anyone else?

Does anyone buy from Preferred Seed in Buffalo? Great people to deal with and great variety of seed. Can pretty much make up any blend or mix of seed you want. -
Use an unscented anti-perspirant on your feet before putting on your socks. keeps feet drier as well as less stinky.

Totally agree with the Fur Fish and Game magazine and there used to be a book that I think was called Trapping North American Furbearers but it may be out of print by now.

I would definitely get some Molle straps and waist belt for carrying and also some 3rd hand straps for safety purposes when in it. i made these mods to both my Summit and API climbers.

During archery my outer layer is always my ASAT leafy suit. For gun season, usually snow camo.

I guess we were lucky to get them this season then. My son just started hunting(even though he is 25) and I'm hoping he can connect with one.

My Brother in law and I both got a DMP for 9P this year. We each had 1 preference point from last year. Just started hunting there last season. Is it going to be an every other year thing or were we just lucky this year?

Just a note about Tenpoint customer service. I sent my Wicked Ridge Invader in for the recall on June 2nd. They received it on June 6th and I had it back in my hands on June 10th. They also included a free Wicked Ridge hat. What better customer service could you ask for?

I've been using them for several years now( Mags, Razortricks and Grizztricks) and they all shoot great and are very sharp. Blood trails are not great but if I do my job the results are dead deer. They are priced right, or at least they were. I haven't bought any since the company changed hands.

I just checked my WR Invader and it has to go back. Have to take it all back apart and only send in the stock portion. What a PITA!

Thanks for the info. This would be used strictly for a shower or the kitchen sink and not both at the same time. I am looking at the Eccotemp L10 or the Aquah 10 or 12L so approximately 2.5 - 3 gal./min. concerned about the temp. rise in the colder weather(deer season). Thinking I would probably need about 70 degrees or so. Does anyone have any experience with either of those 2 heaters?

I am looking for information on using a tankless propane water heater for washing and showering at an off grid cabin. Water would be from a collection barrel and I would utilize a 12V pump to supply enough pressure. Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup? any particular heaters you like or that should be avoided?

New to this forum. Just wanted to say hi and hopefully pick some brains as needed. Very poor deer season for me in 2014. First time in years only taking 1 deer, and that was a doe the 1st weekend of archery season. Hunted new property while it was being logged and deer were there at night as evidenced by tracks and beds but nowhere to be seen during daylight hours. Kind of expected but still disappointing.
