Your kids are gonna love the pond. We had 3 ponds growing up and made a ton of memories playing in them. One was beaver pond that was full of bass. Another one was right by the barn and perfect for skating in winter. That one had bluegills and a few monster channel cats I put in there. It was great when someone was fishing for bluegills and hooked into one of them.

Yea I sent it to my brother in law in TN. If he’s happy with it I’ll probably get one for myself. I’ve heard good things about Thermapen. I’ve been buying Javelins for gifts people for years, they are the poor mans Thermapen. I finally got one for us to replace the crappy digital thermometer Iv had forever.

We messed around tonight and made a small batch of venison blueberry maple sausage… it was pretty damn good when we tested it. I have a feeling we might be making a bunch soon.

After 2 damaged orders, I’m finally stocked up on Bayou sauce. Both grandfathers and both kids Godfathers got one for Father’s Day, plus a bunch for me. These guys suck at packaging and shipping, but their sauce is delicious. https://www.bayousavannah.com/hotsauce

You might be surprised how business owners publicly respond. Rioters were kicking over tables and threatening patrons last year at a popular Rochester restaurant. The owners came out the next day and said they "stand with those standing against injustice". Guess that gives me 2 reasons to spend my money elsewhere.
