I paid $550 to @WNY Bowhunter for my first ever mount this season. Best money I've ever spent! Good luck if you decide to pursue it full time. You definitely have a gift for it, and unfortunately for Moog... I think its time to raise your prices. -

It was great! And we did nothing to it, just threw it on. I grill corn all the time, and sometimes I soak it, sometimes I don't... I don't notice much difference. I like to peel back the husks, remove the silk, drizzle in some Wegman's basting oil, cut off the end of the ear, fold the husks back up, tie off with butchers twine, then grill. THAT makes a difference!

Nah those vampires only took like 5% of my blood… that’s nothing. Felt perfectly normal after, as did tonights buzz. The sad part was the low numbers of donors taking part today.

Nice looking gun! I put a Leupold 3-9x40 on my latest rifle and its been great. Although I have a Burris Fullfield E1 4.5-14x42 that is slowly becoming one of my favorites. The E1 reticle is sweet. These were definitely the shallow water Bowfin variety... I'd love to catch a burbot tho... it's one of the few NY freshwater fish I haven't caught yet.

We used to catch bowfin all the time behind my house growing up (L. Champlain). Everyone called them “Ling”. Tried to eat them once… very soft meat, nothing special but not horrible. Fun as hell to catch though.
