If you really enjoy watching squirrels (red, the annoying ones)... you are more than welcome to sit there sometime. But I have a feeling your spots are a bit more productive for deer. My efforts to add a fat doe to the freezer have been fruitless. But I'v got 5 hunts to go!

After spending a couple minutes with my father-in-law... everyone decided it wasn't worth it. I'm back baby!

I could’ve left my weapon at home on 95% of my hunts this season and achieved the same net results.

Iv already PM’ed them a map showing my best stands. In all seriousness, I hope you can work with that guy to maintain access and maybe even improve the hunting. Anything else you can think of that could have led to a the decrease in the quality of hunting? It sounds like the son in law only took a couple deer in 4 years. Either way, good luck the rest of the season!

That's definitely a tough situation. You are ultimately commenting on how he legally hunts his family land. The best advice I can give is to continue having an open line of communication with him, and keep things civil. If he is doing something illegal, you can certainly call him on it, but know that it could affect the relationship and hunting access. I believe it's legal to sell a bluegill though
