    Last addition to this thread before its retired... I had a few pics of a buck that looked like he only had one antler. This sequence shows that he has 2, but one side points down. He's only a 1.5 year old, but he's weird enough that I'd consider putting an arrow in him.

    This is a bit further off topic, but I've wondered about cell cams and trapping. I'm sure its not currently legal, but should it be? If a camera can send you a picture of a trap twice a day... shouldn't that suffice for the 24/48 check periods? I know it would be unrealistic for a serious trapper to have cell cams on all his traps, but for a beginner or hobbyist, why not? Obviously if the camera stops working, you'd need to go check your trap in person.

    So we've learned that it takes, at best, an average of 14 days for a package to get between ROC and NYC. Good luck with all that mail-in voting next month.

    My only real goals are lots of time in the woods, quick/clean kills, and meat in the freezer. Some years I've shot the first deer that presented a good shot, other years Iv waited for decent buck. Plus between work and family situations, this season could be a boom or a bust for me as far as time in the woods.

    I'm seeing 51 degrees Thursday morning and 41 degrees Saturday morning. Now I just need to do some planning... does first legal deer get it? First legal buck? Or do I sit back and relax during the first few weeks and wait on a decent buck.
